Very friendly and clean and the breakfast choices was great and really tasty, the location is close to town when you find the route.

It was a bit tricky to find but there was road works going on which didn’t help.

There's nothing to complain about, but as the location is slightly on the side of the city centre, it may not be best for all.

This B & B was fabulous! We loved our room and the entire place - the period places were lovely throughout the B & B. Neil and his wife were very gracious. Neil made special arrangements for us to get to our room when we arrived early. The Riverdale House was within walking distance to the downtown where we went to the Castle with an extensive history of Athlone and made a stop at the oldest Pub on record, 900 AD. The breakfast was made to order and simply delicious. Neil was a great host and went out of his way to assist us at every turn. If you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing B & B, go to Riverdale House.

This small establishment did not have an elevator, but that did not deter us, and we are in our 70s, walking up the stairs with luggage. Well worth the minor inconvenience.

The owners were so friendly and the room provided fresh drinking water and snacks along with tea/coffee facilities. Would highly recommend.

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and very clean and also very quiet. The breakfast was freshly prepared, was very delicious and left nothing to be desired. The hosts gave us many recommendations for the city and our further journey. The stay was just perfect; We recommend!

Lovely House in Athlone with a delightful cosy room. A short walk to restaurants and central Athlone for meals and sights. Easy location for driving to and parking. Host was very informative with recommendations.

The hosts, Neil and Avril, were wonderful! Neil has the best suggestions for things to do in the area and nearby. They made us feel like friends coming for a visit. Breakfast was amazing and their home is near town, so it’s a great spot for rest after visiting around town. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Ireland!

Excellent location - easy to walk into town. Excellent breakfasts with lots of choice. Avril and Neil were lovely - kind, friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome .

The location was perfect, the rooms were so clean with a modern take while still keeping a classic/antique look, the location was perfect to walk right into the town, and the hosts were so nice and helpful during our stay.

Everything was great, one suggestion would be to add possibly an oatmeal option to the breakfast menu to accommodate guests with different dietary restrictions.

Location was good for walking into centre for evening meal. House was lovely, well renovated in keeping with its age. Thought had been given to the needs and comfort of guests. Choice of cooked breakfast was exceptional and when delivered very tasty.

Avril and Neil were so welcoming and friendly. They really went all out to help wherever they could with travel and sightseeing advice. Breakfast was first class and freshly cooked to order. Plenty of parking, good wifi, plenty of tea, coffee etc in room. Great location for the pretty town of Amroth which was less than 10 mins walk away.
