Eclectic, serene, positive vibes all day and night, and everything you need!! YuThe storage homes and the set up is absolutely genius. It’s like this tucked away haven. I stayed in both the Africa and America rooms (because I came back 🤓) mostly in the Africa room. The rooms have literally everything you need and they are efficient and cozy. The AC unit is also stellar and the shower water hot if you need it. Easy access to the town center and 2 min walk from the beach, market and restaurant on the same block. I highly recommend this place, and that’s coming from someone whose only written a few reviews in my adult life because I’m not easily impressed. There is also a lovely common area that is a perfect setting both aesthetically and in term of comfort. The owner Alfonso was always SUPER helpful, down to earth, and he was always excited to give me advice on my travels in Jacó and Costa Rica, and the rest of the world 🌎 he shared great stories! Lilliam is literally the best hotel/stay employee I have ever encountered and I have traveled quite a bit. She always came to my rescue with any help I needed! Always had great conversations and checked in on me! She even walked me to a bus station one early morning because I was confused about where to go and even with my very little Spanish she was still patient and helped with sincere care and understanding with a warm smile on her face. ☮️🇨🇷

the air conditioning was amazing, the place was clean and the little kitchenette was perfect for making breakfast in the morning. The cleaning lady at the property was also so kind even though she didn’t speak any English I learnt a little Spanish and she was so happy! would definitely stay here again if we came back.

Fun Experience

Great location right near the beach I never stayed in a shipping container but it was designed very well with great use of space the balcony was very nice

There is no reception just a maid that is there or not. Also there needs to be more room for placing clothes perhaps a drawer under the bed would be sufficient

Very cool stay in a great location! The shipping container was clean and very cool with the AC. Great location close to the beach and shops, but not noisy. Nice to have a TV.

The kitchen seemed like an after-thought. Some cooking utensils provided, but lacking things like a cutting board? The design of the space seemed a little odd.

I loved the unique place. Good air conditioner. Good Internet and good location. All important for me and near perfect. I also liked that I could get a massage at the place. I don't like the massage places in town.

The room was a little small. Not too many places to put my things. There was a couple things missing in the kitchen, but I made due and was able to cook my meals.

The place is really quite really close to the playa Jaco. The owner give you instruction for everything by message with booking. At arriving you find all ready and the keys in your lookblock..in the container you have everything you need to coock and other..the shower have really hot water. I like it

There wasn't a space for the clotes, so I'd to use the bag like a wardrobe

The uniqueness of the containers and the fact that every container room represents a different continent. Being from Africa, I got the Africa room and it was cool!
