This condo had everything we needed for a fantastic stay in Puerto Rico. The Ocean Villas is wonderfully maintained with easy access to the pools and a beautiful swimmable beach. The condo was well stocked with beach toys which was great for our little one. There were not any beach chairs, but rather camping chairs. The condo is not as updated as other properties. We had family stay throughout the Ocean Villas and our condo was the least updated, but for the price it was perfect!

Can't say enough about this location for our family. We spent some time at the Wyndam Resort next door at the poolside restaurant, Iguana feedings and gift shop, but overall we were very happy with our quieter, more private location when we were the only ones at the pool or walking the beach. Super comfortable 2 bedroom for our family of 4. We enjoyed many local activities and the easy trip to Old San Juan. Would stay here again next week if we could!!

My family of four had an amazing time here. The condo itself is beautiful and the view is spectacular. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets and towels were soft. Parking was easy and the resort is a very short walk away. The AC units worked great. The pool was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful spot for a family vacation. Convenient location to San Juan/airport, En Yunque, and the coast for a day trip to Culebra Island. Our children (9 and 7) loved the pools and direct access to the beach. The Villa includes sand toys/boogie boards, which were also a hit. While there is no guest pass access to the neighboring Wyndham hotel amenities, our children were able to utilize the pools there while we dined at the restaurants. The condo was outdated but clean and suited the needs of our family well.

Felt blissful every single day. The view alone is worth the money. The grounds are peaceful, clean and very accommodating. Want a little noise, go to the Wyndham next door. The unit could use a little updating and minor repairs but it’s comfortable, you’ll sleep amazingly well and be very very pleased with your choice.

First the positive feedback: the condo is in a great location which is perfect for a family vacation. The pools, grounds and beach are all well maintained and we enjoyed those amenities.
Regarding the condo itself, it could use some TLC. Joan, the Host, was helpful but not in Puerto Rico, so there was no local contact when we had a couple issues. There needs to be an inside lock on the double bedroom door to the outside (we found it open one morning, with our two granddaughters asleep). In the Master bedroom, there was what appeared to be a sheetrock repair made to an outside wall that needed to be caulked or something, because it was falling in and letting in outside air (hot). We crammed some towels in the gap. There was some sort of grate (AC perhaps) just lying on the double bedroom porch. Overall, it wouldn't take much to upgrade this condo, but it just seemed like nobody had checked it out recently.

We could not have asked for a better property to call home for our stay. The view was wonderful, and the beach, the pools, and the resort were literally steps from the condo. The owner was super responsive with all questions. The condo also is a short drive to many outside activities such as the rainforest, the bioluminescent bay, and old San Juan. If we ever return to Puerto Rico, I would definitely stay here again.

This property is spectacular. The ocean views are exquisite. We enjoyed the casino next door at the resort. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well each night. Don't miss the views from the 5th floor. They are spectacular as well. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Overall a great place to stay on your visit to Puerto Rico. We couldn't have asked for more. Would love to stay again in the future.

This is probably the best VRBO I have ever stayed at, and I’ve visited a lot. The reason is the incomparable view from the balconies and the extremely close proximity to the most beautiful beach. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We didn’t want to leave!! The ocean villas are the best situated ones in Rio Mar. The host was also great with communication. 11 out of 10!

The property is on the most beautiful beach and with a great view. Lots of towels and beach gear in the unit. Some strangeness with the lights, as about half of them didn't work and one of the ceiling fans was broken. I couldn't get the master bedroom AC to work and it was fixed with about 8 hours after contacting the owner. Otherwise there was no contact with the owner at all except to get a pdf of the gate codes for the door and parking area. No additional tasks had to be done. We just left on time with the ACs off and no worries. The resort next door was very useful for scheduling trips and getting very good meals.
For most of our stay we saw no one else. It was like having a private beach all to yourself. So very nice.
Just remember not to hang a towel on the balcony or they come and yell at you early in the morning.
I used the kitchen for most breakfasts and lunches and it had all I needed. Fully stocked with a great stove, fridge and blender. The toaster was a little finicky but useable too.
The beds were all comfy and the showers were nice and warm. No real complaints and I would love to come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The views of the ocean/grounds/pool from the Villa were amazing! Angela was a wonderful host and promptly responded any time I had questions. Our kids loved the pools right out front and being able to explore the hotel next door. The Villa has everything you need and more! I do think it could use some updating on the bedding/microwave and more thorough cleaning but nothing too terrible. Having our own parking spot was also super nice!! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Perfect location, great view, private beach, three pools. Very few people maybe because we went in June. Easy 2 min walk to resort, boogie boarding and relaxing, lunch every day at the Tiki hut, really, really good food and drinks. Had dinner twice at resort restaurants, also GREAT food at Loquillo kiosks, also exceptional food

We had a fabulous time staying at this property. Everything was exactly as described except that the photos really don’t do justice to the perfect location and proximity to the beautiful beach and pool. There is a perfect view of the sunrise, beach and ocean from the patio. As a morning beach person, I was disappointed to find that the beach chairs are locked until someone comes around who can unlock them but the pool is so close to the beach that I couldn’t complain about the view from there. The only other issue was that the remote to the master bedroom TV doesn’t work (even after we tried buying batteries for it) but that was only an issue for my husband 😉. The building and pool needs a little updating but that seems to be “in the works.” The property was very quiet and private. We definitely hope to return!

We loved our stay! The location was great for exploring the area - and for relaxing at the beach and pool. The place itself was clean, spacious, and well stocked - the boogie boards, beach toys, and laundry were so wonderful to have. Angela was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

Wonderful location on beach, beautiful resort/pools and the greatest views! Near many good restaurants, the Wyndham for convenience, rainforest, close to el yunque, San Juan, Fajardo/ east coach cayes. Could use updating and a few minor repairs, but a very comfortable stay.

Great location - w/ a rental car, not far from airport, El Yunque, and ferries to Culebra/Vieques . Nice view and balcony. Great beach/pools, and short walk to resort bars/restaurants. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Condo does have some wear and tear, could use an update soon with microwave, dishwasher, and shower heads - but didn't really bother us, had a great time staying here, and would stay again!

The best thing about this vacation is it’s location—three pools and the ocean right next to us is unbelievable!! The Villa is clean and had everything we needed. If anything needed repaired, it was quickly remedied. Everything made it the greatest vacation ever!

The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. The condo was in great condition with all the beds super comfortable, extra blankets, plenty of extra towels, a fully loaded kitchen for any cooking you wanted to do. We loved having the beach right out the front door along with a beautiful pool and a deck for meals. We have rented condos all over the world and this was one of our favorites. Angela was great to work with and very quick to respond to our questions. Wifi also worked great. Very safe and grounds were immaculate.

We were lucky to get a last minute reservation. The home was clean and family friendly. It was fully stocked with towels, beach towels, beach/sand toys and towels. Wi-Fi was available. Host was readily available for questions and concerns. Definitely worth our money. We’d love to return.

This property location is absolutely beautiful. The beach views from the patio are fantastic for morning and evening wind down.
It is close to so many activities, without being congested like bigger cities. There is a fantastic cheesecake bakery, as well as traditional bakery at the turnoff from the highway.
If you are wanting a 5 star hotel, this is not it. Its a great condo, but not modern. The Wyndham hotel may be more modern and offer more, but value for your money is found in this condo. Surprisingly, one of the best amenities for us was the washer and dryer. We used them daily because we were constantly out snorkeling, body boarding, etc, Being able to wash everything was so nice!
Our host was very helpful. We had absolutely no issues with anything. I would not hesitate to recommend again

Wonderful beachfront apartment, ideal location!
Great, spacious apartment for family of four in Wyndham Rio Mar resort complex. Beach and pool right in front, very un-crowded, almost private. We loved the location within easy reach of San Juan, the rain forest, snorkeling tours off the Island's east coast. Lots of local restaurant choices. Perfect alternative to staying in the overcrowded San Juan beachfront areas. Communication with owner was outstanding, everything worked smoothy! Can't recommend highly enough.

It’s also right next door to the Wyndham Rio Mar property if you want to explore their restaurants & casino. We couldn’t have felt more at home with every accommodation right at our finger tips from washer/dryer, beach towels, 2 outdoor patios & comfortable beds after a long day. I would definitely stay at this site again if ever in Puerto Rico!

There were several items that need attention: a light bulb in the dining room was burned out, toilet paper rod is missing in the hallway bathroom, lights flicker, switches don’t work well, very small ants in several locations, cold water option on washing machine does not work, we got hot water only, and the lap pool was not very clean, a lot of sand on the bottom. Overall, it could have been a little cleaner, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Our family stayed in April and had an amazing time. The views from the balcony were beautiful-perfect for morning coffee time. The resort was safe, clean, and easy to navigate. The condo included everything we needed and was more than enough space for our family of four.

We loved staying in this Ocean Villa on the grounds of the Wyndham! The apartment is so comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen may be a bit small but it was perfectly functional for making breakfast and light meals. The beds, couches, and chairs were super comfy and the TVs were great. All this is just extra because the main attraction is the location! The two spacious balconies were amazing! It gives the perfect view of the gorgeous pool, the palm trees, and the ocean waves. You are a very easy walk away from the sand, and can easily see the balconies from the beach. We also enjoyed being able to walk on the well kept pathways between the Villas and the Wyndham. The included parking spot was also a major plus. Angela was excellent with communication and answering my question leading up to the trip, and we had no issues whatsoever with the property while we were there. We can't wait to come back to this property!
