My wife and I visited our grandkids in Seaside. My daughter, son-in-law and their infant son stayed with us. It was clean, great location, and was perfect for our visit. Only thing we wish was there was a hair dryer.

Because we spent most of our 3 days outdoors in paradise, we tolerated the flaws of the rental, which started with the House Rules posted on the refrigerator, beginning with a reference to the care of the hot tub and dishwasher, neither of which were anywhere on the property. The space worked ok for 4 family members sharing the one bathroom. There were ample towels and bedding and dishware, and the new washing machine and dryer worked well. We were disappointed by poor lighting in the kitchen and living room, with burned out lightbulbs in each room. The large main stove burner did not work. In the queen bedroom was a drawer handle on the chest of drawers was missing, the folding closet door was missing a handle for opening, and the entrance door was crashed and broken and needs to be replaced. And there was no corkscrew in the kitchen supplies! But proximity to the Promenade and beach is the primary plus.

Cute little place in a nice quiet neighborhood; just a couple blocks from the beach and 5 minutes from the Promenade, arcades, shopping and great restaurants! We will definitely be coming back

The house was clean, the managers were extremely responsive even after hours, it's a great location for walking and riding a bike, and being within walking distance of the beach was a real plus.
The House was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Lots of windows for natural light and ventilation.

Great location
We needed a place that accepted a dog for my mother-in-law. Place is nice and comfortable. Everything was clean enough. As other reviewers have mentioned, house is dark; especially in the evening. But it does have a cozy feel. The location is fantastic and we were glad to have the little extra yard and could store the kid's bikes and scooters behind the house out of sight. We were glad to be away from the promenade and the crowds and noise that comes along with it. But everything is an easy walk and we walked into city center every day. It was perfect distance for the kids to ride their bikes.

Not a good value. Dismissive service.
The place was not cozy. A blanket would have been nice. No thought or care went in to the décor. There is $XX fee and $XXfee. One for cleaning ( we were instructed to clean our own towels, however) and one for service, meaning that you could reach Vrbo at any time. I texted the manager about the lack of internet( it was advertised as having it). I have still not gotten a response. In short this was not a good experience. It was expensive and there is a distinct feeling of being taken advantage of for all of the money we paid for two nights in a lousy house with no internet in which no one even answers you(around $530). I want some of my money refunded. I know it wont' happen but this was not a good value. My girlfriend and I got hoodwinked by Vrbo.

Seaside in low season
The property was all we could wish for, including easy access to the beach. In the past we have been to Seaside in the summer with the crowds that come with that. Though it was occasionally rainy we did enjoy the reduced crowds and having the beach pretty much to ourselves.

Perfect Location
The home is in such a cute area of Seaside. Only a block from the beach and a perfect ice cream cone walk from downtown. The house was cute, clean and perfect for our family dinners and movie nights.

Comfortable and Walkable
The house was clean and tidy in all rooms and spaces. The wood floor and wood paneling on the high ceiling was a nice added touch so when we were at home we were in a comforting atmosphere.
The short walk to the ocean, amenities and fun in town was just a pleasant stroll up and down the beach or promenade, foregoing automobile usage which is so nice.

Quaint little house
I really enjoyed staying here as the house was very comfortable and spacious. I would stay here again as it is a perfect little weekend getaway house that is close to the beach and a 10 min walk to downtown Seaside.

Relaxing and homey
We needed a comfortable spot near the ocean to relax—and this home fit the bill. An easy walk to the beach and about a 3 minute drive into the Seaside downtown area. The owners/managers responded quickly to all our questions. Very pleased with our stay.

Cute Cottage by the Beach
Lisa/Sharon very helpful and went out of the way to make sure we had what we needed. Cottage was clean and supplies we needed. Beds were clean and comfortable. Great location, walking distance to beach and promenade. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay in seaside. It was a very short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and cute front porch, it just needs a chair and table outside and it would have been perfect.

Great weekend trip
Great Location for our stay. Quick walk to the beach. Close to food and Great coffee. Close to our favorite surf shop. The place was clean and had all that we needed.

Cozy home in a great location to the beach!
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home that was only a few minutes walk to the beach. It's ideal for a couple of friends or a small family with 2 bedrooms with 1 bed in each and 1 bathroom. The walk to town was easy, about 10-15 minutes if walking on the beach sidewalk or through the neighborhood. We had rain and patches of sun and were plenty comfortable with our waterproof clothing to walk along the beach both days, regardless of the weather. The home doesn't have a dishwasher which isn't terrible for a small group. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our new Seaside place to stay!
This was the perfect place for our little family! We loved the coziness and beach cabin feel. Only a few minutes to walk to the beach and it’s away from the crowded area by downtown. We only needed to use one of the bedrooms and were surprised how comfy the bed was! The only thing that could’ve been better was having more toilet paper stocked in the bathroom. Will be coming back on our next Seaside trip!

Great location!
Our family stayed two nights and really loved the central location to the all the activities in Seaside, and only a short 5 min walk to the beach. The house was clean and stocked with coffee/spices. It is an older beach house with some flaws but it was exactly what we expected. My only recommendation is to bring your own bedding for the pull out bed, they provide blankets but no sheets or pillows.

Perfect Little Spot
We loved our time at May's! What a great little spot. There were only 3 of us and it was perfect. Quick walk to the beach which was away from the busier areas. Fully stocked with everything we needed, along with wifi/cable! Can't wait to book again soon!

We are waiting for a new home purchase to close---Thought staying in one place for two weeks was a good idea--Turned out It was!--"May's Place" was a greatly appreciated "break" from too-many single night stays in Motels--This house is actually bigger then It looked on-line--Pleasant feeling all necessary Items were there & in God shap--New washer/dryer-Area can be fun to explore -also nice place[house] to read & Relax--TV has all types of channels too. We would stay here again--a good overall experience.

The place is very minimal. Furniture is old and worn. Roof had a leak in the living room. The Plus side is the location, but I would say it feels over priced.
