room size and upkeep

The location and room/hotel amenities were great! I liked having the fridge and microwave combo and the continental breakfast. The hotel had vinyl flooring which at first didn't seem appealing, but then made sense being so close to the beach it would be easy to clean up.

The only thing i didn't quite like was the room set up and lighting. The room we were in had an extra large foyer area outside of the bathroom but then removed space in the main bedroom area so one bed was against a wall. The table and chairs were in a dark corner and would have been better if the table was near the window where the natural light came in. The lighting wasn't very bright so it was hard to see in the room.

smelled like cigarettes and weed smoke informed staff and nothing was done to move us, was told “most ppl left today the problem should be done” left after first night and was billed for second night even after informing the staff that it made my husband sick and had to take him home sick, the room was dirty and items from previous tenant was still in room…

Staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

Breakfast was ok would like to see more options like make your own pancakes or waffles. Also include toast, and baggies. More fruit too.

Booked with booking.com Spoke with a very nice man at the hotel to confirm reservation after I booked. He told me he would be upgrading me to a full view room for no extra fee. I asked him if I should be cancelling with Booking and rebooking with the hotel directly to save money. he said - no, he would still give me an ocean view room and that he would also honor a discount (for my AAA membership or USAA) - When I checked in, he wasnt there. They upgraded me for $40 extra per night. Very poor customer service, hospitality is minimum. They also do not clean rooms mid-stay.

The location was phenomenal, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were wonderful!

We took our to-go dinner out to the patio to eat and the lights were out so it was pretty dark, but we still enjoyed sitting at the tables and watching people on the Prom.

Updated furniture was nice, the room was clean and the employees were extremely kind.

Electrical could use some updating--my hair straightener was killing the lights.

I loved our ocean front room! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and made us feel even more welcome on our little beach getaway.

A vent or fan is always nice, but being so close to the beach, an open window worked fine.
