Very close to the centre of Franz Josef but in a quiet location off the road. Very private cottage and beautifully clean. Spacious rooms and a lovely verandah to see the mountains.

No breakfast was offered. We were totally on our own - one of two cottages at property.

No clearly visible sign of the property - difficult to find in the dark. Most upset at lack of accessibility to owner - tried to phone and sent email to him - and to Expedia - REQUESTING THE PASSWORD FOR WIFI. NEVER RECEIVED AND NOT ABLE TO USE IMPORTANT INTERNET DURING THE STAY. Same situation for the couple in the other cottage - they requested password 3 times like us with no response. There ws a private home near our cottages, not sure if owner was there, but NO ATTEMPT WHATSOEVER TO ASK IF EVERYTHING ALRIGHT DURING THE STAY.

Spacious cottage for a couple, very clean and tidy. The Wi-Fi connection is great. Only a short drive to shops. We love the view!

This is our oversight. We didn't notice some of the windows did not have fly screens so by the night there were bugs everywhere, would be nice to have insects spray at the house, no big deal.

Clean simple and modern cottage with separate bedroom, kitchenette, comfortable lounge area and outdoor deck with views of the mountains. Had everything we needed for a great overnight stay.

It’s close to the road so some traffic noise (but hardly any passing cars overnight)

Was very cosy, clean and a great location, perfect for our travels

Would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge for a cup of tea. Some other bits and pieces would have just enhanced a good stay like some paper towel, oil and adequate dishwashing liquid.
