The deck. Quiet location

Bedroom was a little small.

This place is beautiful! We thought it was going to be smaller from the photos but, it's actually a great size and very cosy. Very comfortable and great location! The board games are a great touch.

The room is cozy, clean, and beautiful. We can see the glacier just from our room. At night, you can see lots of stars in the sky. We had a great time in this house.

Excellent location, just as advertised. Plenty of space as a cabin accommodation, great for a couple. Extraordinary views of the glacier.

my husband is over 6ft and the Perspex above the shower made this very difficult and seems very unnecessary. it also made the shower feel very claustrophobic. also there was nowhere to put items in the shower.

We loved everything about It, It was peaceful, well maintained, everything you needed cleaning, cooking to keeping warm at night. The location is perfect just a few minutes out of town. The views are amazing! Mountains and glaciers

Wow the views. This place is stunning. Excellent amenities, great host communication but the major winner is the views and quiet. Very simple drive into town for food and adventures.

Amazing location, and the view from the deck is spectacular!! Small, but very comfortable for a couple with a well-appointed kitchen. Definitely recommend it if you are in Franz Joseph!!!

Absolutely fabulous, exceeded our expectations. It was exactly as presented online. Couldn't fault our short stay, even the weather was perfect.

The place is nice and clean

The bathroom is tight and the bathroom basin is more to wash your hands in and not where you would brush your teeth and wash your face

Having a separate bedroom. A newish build with heat pump, comfortable couch and good linen. A nice outlook.

The bathroom was very tiny with a handbasin almost too small to clean your teeth. We used the kitchen sink. The fridge was also far too small. It should take up the space allocated for one, which would still be a small fridge but not a tiny one. We were only supplied with two normal teabags for a couple and enough shower gel ( just) for one shower each. With no overhang outside the entrance and wet weather, it was hard to protect the flooring when entering and leaving.

The accommodation was excellent. Nicely furnished, very clean (felt very new), well equipped. The highlights were milky way views before the clouds rolled in and then the view of the glacier in the morning after the cloud lifted - spectacular (see piccof glacier taken from front deck). Wish we had more time here and sad to leave this little gem.

Nothing to not like

Lovely quiet location away from main town of Franz Josef- but a couple of minutes away by car if needed. Everything there for a short stay. Easy access with key box.

We were fortunate to stay for 4 nights- bin could have been emptied during our stay. The cabin gets quite warm on a sunny day…..

Super location with a fine Mountain View

Nice setting with potential, if managed correctly.

One unhelpful call to owner, who appeared uninterested..

The views are amazing and the property was so clean and fresh. It was the perfect size for me and my friend. The outdoor seating was an added bonus and so was the board games. It was so nice to sit outside playing board games watching the sunset behind the mountains

Compact bathroom

All ok but the bathroom impossibly tight and we are not big people.

Shelves and hangers for clothes, shelves in the bathroom. Kitchen very limited and fridge tiny.

The location was fantastic,you could sit on the decking and look at Franz Josef,absolutely stunning.

Could do with a table lamp in the seating area,the main lighting was too bright to sit and relax.

Not quite as private as it looks in the photos. A lot of houses around but no issues.

The views were exceptional. The property was clean and well laid out, easy to find and very comfortable.

Stunning views from this small but beautiful cabin. Spotlessly clean. Can watch the sun set over Franz Josef Glacier from the deck. Very comfortable bed.
