Great location in Czech Village. You can walk to the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library.

Great location, clean, comfortable, exceeded expectations. Easiest parking we’ve ever had for a Vrbo. Mark was in contact with us and everything was just right for our stay.

Lovely home, reasonably priced, in a convenient location.

House was easy to find using car navigation. It was really hot inside (especially the upstairs) when we got there but once we turned air conditioning down it did cool down so sleeping wasn’t too terrible. Thankfully there were enough fans upstairs. Only real downside was the house was on a busy street where the traffic noise was really bad both nights.

Great accommodations the host was amazing to work with as plans were fluid. The area was perfect walked to great little restaurants and shops. Would definitely return in the future. Made our stay very enjoyable!!

Very convient location. Responsive Hosts. Well-equipped kitchen. The traffic is a bit loud at random times and only for a moment. Good showers. Overall a good experience.

Loved the location was able to walk to the Czech village for breakfast and shopping. Upstairs was warm when we arrived. Luckily the night temperatures dropped into the 60’s so it was pleasant for sleeping.

An amazing place for large groups. AC didnt work upstairs though, the house is old and it required us to reqlly crank down the AC and turn on every fan in every room to cool the upstairs. That sounds bad, but everything else about the place was amazing including communication with the owner. Amazing stay would recommend.

I can’t fully express how much I enjoyed my stay here. Mark was so gracious and hospitable. The only thing that could improve the place is darker curtains in the master bedroom upstairs. Otherwise, it had perfect beds, perfect kitchen, perfect all the way down to the details. We especially appreciated the lotion and other emergency toiletries. Would definitely stay here again!

This house fit our needs perfectly! Our son, daughter-in-law and two of our grandkids had the upstairs to themselves. Each kid had their own room and their family shared a bathroom. My husband & I stayed on the main level. We had space to gather and a large dining table where we could enjoy meals and each others company. It’s a short walk to the Czech Village shops & restaurants, there was even a family Halloween parade during the Saturday evening of our stay. Off street parking is literally right out the front door in a city lot. The appliances are newer and it was handy having a washer & dryer. Overall very easy to get to and convenient to everything Cedar Rapids and Eastern Iowa has to offer.

3 friends and I chose Mark's house for a get together. It was a great choice! Mark's house was large enough for us each to have a room. It was clean, well decorated and comfortable. We loved being in the Czech Village area as well as being within easy driving distance to the Amana Colonies, good restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Cute, clean, and comfortable home within walking distance of everything in the Czech Village and a short drive to the Amana colonies. The host met us when we arrived to checkin. He was very friendly and helpful. Even helping us find a restaurant for that evening. The bathrooms were good sized, clean, and well lighted. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was more than adequate and user friendly, but needed a few more glasses and coffee cups. We all felt the cost was quite reasonable.

The home was in a good location for us to access COE College. Parking was convenient.

This house is a two-story home with four bedrooms and two baths (3 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs). There was plenty of room for my family of 6. We had an issue when we got there, but our host came over with a solution and checked on the house and us the next day. The home is older, so has some drafts and creaks but that add to the character. Hot water was plentiful, and the location is convenient to Czech Village, including bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Living room and dining room were large enough for our family.

The house was as described. Everything we needed for a problem free stay was provided. The home is in Czech Village, so walking distance to shops and restaurants. Cedar Rapids is an easy city to get around in so this house was a perfect jumping off point. It was cold while we were in town (single digits one night), but the house stayed warm. For those visiting in the winter or early spring, take a drive south on the river road and you will see dozens of bald eagles, deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife.

We were looking for a “home-away-from-home” where we could visit with my daughter and her family for the weekend, Cedar Rapids being the halfway point between us. The seven of us had plenty of room to hang out, and appreciated being able to prepare meals in the large kitchen. The washer and dryer came in handy with the baby and the bathrooms were specious and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and located close to the grocery, restaurants, and shopping. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. An overall great experience!

Love being right in the Czech Village! So many shops and walking distance to everything we wanted to check out!! Awesome host!! Beautiful, spacious house! Lots of parking. Definitely will be back :)

Hurricane struck within 24 hours of checking in. The owner didn't bother to check in on our safety until a day and a half later. We had no electricity, no hot water, there were no emergency preparedness supplies available such as flash lights or lanterns and there was no means to cook as everything in the home was Electric. We had to borrow a barbecue in order to feed ourselves. I drove from California to Iowa to spend my granddaughters 21st birthday with her. The owner showed up the first night at 9:30 to take out the garbage. And then again like I said didn't see him again and he offered no help during the storm. The house was an older home and had character. However, the basement but we had to hide in during the storm was musty and smelled of black mold.

What an amazing place, this home was so very clean and I loved the Christian sayings. This home had everything and more than that we needed. The pool was amazing our babies loved it so much so did we and the whole property was so clean and everyone was so nice! Thank you so much!
