Our family had a fabulous and fun long weekend including picture perfect weather every day! The large pool was well used by all! ( I think pool floats/ noodles, etc. could have been provided however we knew this ahead of time and had to go out and buy them to bring with us ) The house itself was spacious, had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable with nice linens. A definite plus having 2 refrigerators with a large group! The kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. We never used the formal dining room, meals all around the large table and outdoors. The grill was in absolute great shape, the cleanest of any rental property we’ve ever had! Unfortunately the crabbing wasn’t great so no chowder made this trip. Thanks for a great time!

The house was lovely with plenty of room for all 13 of us. The pool was a godsend since it was in the 90’s all week and we didn’t want to go into the river. Unfortunately only one crab and many small fish were caught but the fishermen had fun. The only drawback was the lack of shade at the pool. It was a beautiful setting with an amazing view.

The stay was fantastic. The house was great, there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the pool, the guys enjoyed the fishing off the dock, and we all enjoyed eating the fish. The crabs were not biting, maybe they were still in the deeper waters. The house was very clean and Owen was very responsive to questions. The view was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle Haven! The owner, Owen was very responsive and helpful! The home was stunning and very clean. The only thing I will say is to bring your own essentials, like toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags as a very limited amount were supplied.

Our family enjoyed the beautiful house and played pool and ping pong a lot! The bedrooms were nice, only one bedroom actually has it's own bathroom though. Finally, the bunk beds looked like a fun idea for a sleepover, but the mattresses were really thin. We had a small group so we doubled up the mattresses and that worked great. Small kids may have been more comfortable on them. The house and property were clean and beautiful. Owen had a nice fire set up ready to go at our leisure in the fire pit, which we did really enjoy. Easy checkin and out even though we were arriving late.

From the first email communication with Owen this was a friendly and seamless process. The house is clean and well appointed. We stayed for our 19th year of a girlfriends getaway and did not want to leave. We've stayed at a lot of wonderful places of the past 19 years, but this exceeded them all. This house is beautiful with gorgeous views of the water, spectacular sunrises and 360 degree bucolic vistas. The house gave so many options for lounging, dining and recreation; we didn't even use them all. The pool was perfection! We all agreed that we want to book family vacations here next year! Thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property in Cambridge. House was exactly as advertised and met all of our needs. Pool area and fire pit were perfect. Lastly, Owen was extremely attentive and supportive throughout our week. He did a great orientation on front end and was very responsive with the occasional questions we had. The home is set in a remote location giving us the privacy we enjoy and still only 10 minutes from fine dining or a great breakfast. We would start each day with a spectacular sunrise over the bay and go from there. We spent time everyday in a large beautiful private pool (very clean). Inside the house is a large dining area. Great for family gatherings (meals and family games). An adjacent room has a large screen TV with comfortable seating for my family of nine. All bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were very up to date and well kept. My experience with the owners was great. They met with my wife and I at the house and walked us through all the details, which made things very easy for us to begin our vacation. Highly recommend!!

Overall this was a great property and location. My family of 16 loved every minute.

We stayed at this property with another family (8 people total). It was clean and spacious and was perfect for a get away. The kitchen was well-stocked, the pool spotless and the property beautiful. We loved using the kayaks, relaxing by the pool, and playing pool and ping pong at night. The best part of the house, for us, was the kids had their own “apartment” above the garage that was close enough not to worry about them but separated enough that they couldn’t hear us at night talking or playing pool. Owen was responsive when we found a wasps nest and provided suggestions for restaurants and activities for the area. We can’t wait to come back next year with a third family (there would be more than enough room to accommodate them) and hopefully take advantage of the surrounding area more without social distancing.

We had 11 people (6 kids) in the house very comfortably. The kitchen and eating spaces were large enough. Great lawn for games. We kayaked every day and the kids were in the pool all day. Everyone had a terrific time. We had an issue with the hot water and the owners helped us fix it immediately. I would highly recommend.

This property was the perfect place for our family to get together for a long weekend. Great for kids from 5 to 50 - large, well-kept house, yard and pool. We look forward to booking again!

This home is everything we had hoped it would be. The owner, Owen, was so easy to work with ahead of our visit - and even met us at the house for check-in. The house and property are beautiful and well maintained. We had an awesome weekend thoroughly enjoying the view, the fire pit, playing pool and ping pong and enjoying the company of those attending this small "retreat."

This house was absolutely stunning. Perfect location and perfect size for 4 couples.

We have rented a number of properties in the Chesapeake area and this has been our favorite. We stayed for two weeks and really did not want to leave. In fact, we don't really want to leave this good review as our return may be made more difficult by more renters. The house easily accommodated our many family members (16 at one point) -- not only are there many beds but there are so many rooms that you can easily get away from the hubbub if you need to. The kids especially loved the saltwater pool, the ping pong, and pool table as well as the big back yard -- great for frisbee throwing, croquet, and corn hole. The kitchen is large and fully equipped -- definitely loved the waffle maker! The homeowner is easily reachable and quick to respond -- we had a small tree come down across the driveway and it was cleared before our guests arrived. But the very best feature of this property is the lack of bugs! There are so many birds, frogs, toads, and dragonflies that the biting insects don't stand a chance. It was absolutely fabulous to be able to sit outside, watch the Choptank, feel the breezes, and not be bothered by bugs! Every single person to the property was quite taken by the beauty, amenities, and perfection of the home. We will definitely be back!!!!
