Great family home with everything we needed for our stay. Locale is great, with a short walk to Shamel Park, the beach, Fiscalini Ranch, and Main Street. The kids loved the pool table, and the view of the sunset was second to none.

This was our second time at this home. We have been coming to Cambria since the 70’s. This home is perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of space to hang together or to be on your own. One thing this home would benefit from is an on demand hot water heater in the upstairs bathroom. Feels like to too forever (probably hundreds of gallons) just to get the water lukewarm for a shower. We all ended up showering in the downstairs bathroom. Aside from that my grand son left his favorite stuffed kitty and they mailed it to us immediately. Bravo!

This was our 2nd time staying at this location and we love it. It has a great view of the ocean, very close to the park for the kiddos, but far enough away where you have quietness. The pool table is great for the kiddos and we love that the upstairs is open so everyone can enjoy. We did have an ant problem both times we have stayed there but other then that little problem everything was great. Checking in and out was so easy less then a couple mins. There are 2 rooms down stairs which allows the people that want to go to bed earlier an opportunity to get away from all the noise. This location is very close to Moonstone Dr where you can go to the grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, or misc. shopping.

This house is very good for a family with multiple sleeping options. It has an amazing view, way better than the photos show. Pool table was fun and there are some games for kids in cabinet. Some of the furniture is pretty dated and the master bed could use an upgrade. All in all this is a really good house we will use again.

Great views and location. Kids loved the pool table while we watched sunset. I would upgrade the place a little, but all enjoyed our trip. Property mgr should know what is in each of their rentals (ie beach chairs and beach towels to borrow, etc). Place was pretty dusty and dirty inside. Cleaners could have done a better job or property mgrs should inspect it to ensure proper cleaning.

It was all about the View and Location. Overall we loved the Place the Mail living was perfect. The view was perfect and the Pooltable was lots of fun. The home was a little tired. From Cobwebs at the front door to a very damp smell when you first walked in. But when you went upstairs to the kitchen and living room, that was great.

Great Place But Annoying DIY Neighbor
There's really nothing wrong with the property, but we have stayed at this place two times, and the neighbor directly to the west pretty much does construction on his property every day and on weekends too. If you like to wake up at 7 AM to the sound of a circular saw or hammering, then this is the place for you.

Comfortable, quiet, and great location.
We really enjoyed staying at this home. While it does not have the most up-to-date amenities (the carpet is old but clean), the 2nd story space is incredible and comfortable. You can really relax with the terrific view and quiet neighborhood. Close to all beaches anb 5 minute drive to center of Cambria. And I personely loved having a full-size pool table! I highly recommend it.

Perfect for Families
First of all, the location is amazing. One minute walk to Shamel Park. 5 minute walk to Main Street Grill. Just a little farther for Cambria Roasting House. This house doesn't have many frills or luxury items, but for the price it was fine. The only things that could be improved are the Dish satellite is not HD (we didn't watch TV though because we were out so much) and the appliances could use an upgrade (dishwasher, fridge, and stove). Washer and dryer were new. Place was very clean, and the upstairs area is very roomy even with the pool table. The view was amazing too.

The house was perfect for our family if six - including a toddler. Great upstairs space. The fireplace wasn’t working. The handyman came twice and showed us what to do. It could really use more towels and maybe some extra dishes. Some plastic stuff for kids would be great. Very close to the park

We all had a great family vacation at the Serenity Rental House. Great location close to town, park, Moonstone Beach, Tara's Clydesdale Ranch & hiking. We went very early one morning to see the Elephant Seals (due to parking) & witnessed a pup's birth! We got great BBQ from Linn's at Friday's Farmers Market in town. We are already talking about going again next year for another repeat family vacation.

Cons: In need of an update. Old everything. Sticky cabinets (old varnish?). Smelled funky upstairs. Beds downstairs were like sleeping on a brick. Water pressure downstairs was nonexistent.

Serenity was a beautiful home with fantastic views and a pool table for guests to enjoy. The house has a lot of potential and is in need of updates. We were disappointed that the Master Bedroom had no seating, no curtains and no dress or to put away our clothes. The dresser was old and had two missing drawers. The decor was shabby. The other rooms were much better. There were no tissue boxes in the rooms. The cabinets in the kitchen and the stove was dirty and the cabinets were greasy to the touch. We have rented homes from Scenic Coast Properties for 25 years and are always pleased with the homes. This house needs TLC.
