the blinds in our room were broken and we could not lower them to darken the room for morning. Our room was right above the main entrance where there was much outside conversation and people who smoked in this area and it came up to our room. That was very unpleasant and disruptive. Also, the peep hole in our door was broken and anyone outside in the hall could see right through into the room. The carpets in the hallway and elevator were very dirty. The smell in the lobby was most unpleasant as well.

Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Walking distance to local restaurants and shops. Close driving distance to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse.

The people in the room above me sounded as if they were doing gymnastics all the time. I called the front desk once and they momentarily stopped but next day continued.

The room design was ideal for the modern traveler. The little shelf outside the bathroom was brilliant. Allowed me to curl my hair without interfering with my husband shaving at the bathroom sink. Beautiful interior design.

We had no complaint of anything.
