The stairs, even to the checkin

If you don't mind an extremely stuffy atmosphere with no air cons and walkng up and down narrow flights of stairs you might actually not mind no one ever told you about these. The room, a converted attic really, had "windows" that could not be looked through because they were so high up in the wall. And they let no fresh air in - in the middle of the hot Balkan summer. The towel had a HUGE hole in it. No one expected a 5-star treatment, but...

Nice, quiet location. Room was spacious and clean.

WiFi wasn’t very reliable.

Restaurant is good,l location is very convenient.

There is sometimes noise from the birds on the roof if your room is on the last floor.

A perfect location, beautiful building, friendly personal.

The carpenter floor in the room was quite dirty, The bath room is very small, everything gets wet while showering.

Bed was really small. Shower.. well, there was no separate shower, instead you showered on the toilet.

Food was very good and great value. Breakfast had good choice, Pancakes, Omellete, Donut and other, with coffee and toast..all for 5 Lev. Very pleasant waitress...I do not speak Bulgarian and she not much English but with pleasant manner-communication always works. Evening Dinner I had a few times, an extensive menu..starters, main, desserts and extensive Drinks menu. Really lovely food for a 3 star or indeed a 4star hotel...and such good value. One meal, I had a bottle of beer, lovely pork kebab with fries-sauces, Biscuit/cheesecake dessert...all for €12, how fantastic

Room needs a little clean--few cobwebs and behind desk etc need good hoover. Shower was novel...No shower unit, a fully tiled bathroom with a shower hose-head...so simply water flows on toilet unit and everywhere but does flow into drain hole...was fine but not too sure having water gushing near a toiler unit is very hygienic.

There is a tiny hotel and since it’s for one night, that’s absolutely fine. I liked that personel tried to do everything for my comfort, even if I was everything about „yes”. WiFi and TV was ok. Also internet speed connection and TV.

Shower not as a separated zone but just shower where you can take it directly into the bathroom floor. That’s looks hyper inprofessional. AC wored well but there was no option to speed down the fan - just absolutely fast exposing cold air directly into the bed position. No energy connection near the bed.
