Staff were very friendly and helpful

The only issue was the smoke alarm starting to beep at 6am, which was not their fault

WIFI was hopeless in the rooms. Needed to sit outside in the cold to get a decent signal

Convenient to airport and was on a main bus route. Free shuttle from, but not to, the airport ( only $10 though). Within walking distance to Indian restaurant and dairy.

They forgot to give us milk for hot drinks and we were too tired to chase it up. Otherwise, all good.

The room itself was nice and clean and the bed comfortable.

The area is not close to any shops for food. Also, the motel advertises a free shuttle to and from the airport and early and late check outs at an extra cost. Firstly, the shuttle to the motel was free. But not available until 2 pm, which is check-in time. Despite my asking for an earlier check-in, I was told bluntly checkin is 2pm. When I got there, I was asked if I needed a shuttle back to the airport the next day and was told it was $10. I said no, it's free, and I was told there was a policy change 2 days prior. I booked more than 2 days ago and pointed that out. I had to argue to get the $10 waived, which was done very reluctantly.... despite the so-called policy change, booking.com still says free shuttle to and from the airport. I explained I had a late flight the next day, and could I get a later check out and was told check out is at 10 am. I then said that I would get the shuttle at 10 am as I didn't want to hang around the airport any longer than I had to. I had a knock on my door at 945am for the shuttle. The place is well overpriced for what it is, but the main letdown was the staff and their attitude. I wouldn't stay here again.
