The hotel is old school beautiful, it really is a pleasure to look at inside and out, feels grand yet inviting.

The road is rather busy right in front and lower floor rooms are pretty much on top of the carpark/main road.

Truly luxurious hotel. Fabulous breakfast on one of the most beautiful terraces I’ve ever experienced. Staff were so lovely and helpful.

Beautiful accommodations and property, location and service.

The property in right on the Main Street that you could hear the vehicles loudly. I had to wear ear plugs. The bed and pillows were too firm for me.

Pillows and mattress were very uncomfortable. also, was very loud given room on the street (but the view was worth it)

Location, facilities and staff are absolutely incredible at the Imperiale!

Rooms are VERY dark if you do not book a seaview room. The windows in the park view rooms are TINY and ours overlooked a noisy carpark/service entrance where the bins were emptied etc each morning and evening. Not worth the amount they charge. If you can, book a higher room and sea view only. These park view rooms are not worth the money.

Breakfast on the terrace was perfect, nothing to add. Fantastic views with great staff. Old school opulence.

Be aware a taxi from the hotel to Portofino is 50 euros , which was booked thru the Hotel. But thought I would just get a cab back from the Taxi rank, the meter went on and it cost 68 euros to come back, for a 15 min ride did seem very expensive. So use the Hotel to book the cabs for you.

The property is very well looked after. The hotel a the best location, overlooking Santa Margherita and the very tip of Portofino. The interior of the the hotel is decorated with fine antiques, very tasteful. The staff is most helpful and friendly. Great service experienced at the reception, the housekeeping is doing a fabulous job. And the kitchen, the menu, is just outstanding and the manger and all the staff at the restaurant is just what you expect at a 5 star hotel - I had another nice, very nice stay. Thank you all.
