Location and especially my beach bungalow number 721!

My 6 nights stay in First Bungalow Resort was amazing! My hotelroom had a view on the pool and it was a couple of minutes walking to a stunning private beach. The staff was so kind and helpful. Always a smile and willing to help you! The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was good as well; plenty of choice and a nice view on the beach as well. After my one week of staying here, I felt refreshed. I cherish very good memories of my time here and big thanks to the wonderful staff!

The location of the resort is excellent and stretching our budget slightly and booking a beach front cottage was in hindsight a masterstroke

Nothing to dislike really, maybe the beach bar could be lived up with a bit of music and some colourful lights

room was tiny and not a part of the bungalows, they took us to apartments in a nearby place. nowhere near as good as the main part.

The beach bungalows are secluded and comfortable - the location almost gives you a private beach, which is fantastic. Quiet, well provisioned, and beautiful!

Getting into Central can take a bit of time. The TV in our room didn’t have any channels or connection.

They put us initially in a semi detached bungalow after we specificially booked a stand alone. Was resolved however but had to give up beachfront location. Not great. Big cockroaches in the bed on day 3 woke us up at night. Horrible. Toilet didnt flush properly. Rooms a bit old.

Having to do 4 flights of stairs with a buggy and baby, (no elevator), then walk through a short section of public street, through the hotel carpark to get to the pool. Lights in bathroom didn't work, Door did not close fully, so plenty of access for plenty of mosquitos. TV in default German with almost zero WiFi. Pillows were huge and rock hard. Price included 7% service tip. We cancelled our week's booking after the first night and still waiting for a refund. Being lied to by booking.com and the hotel - which clearly isn't a bungalow resort - about the refund. Avoid like the plague. We booked in to Baan Hin Sai resort just down the road and we're blown away with the difference.

I liked my stay, very pleasant, the view of the bay from the bungalow was amazing.

I didn’t like the wifi in bungalow 759, very poor connection.

many things were not great, general conditions of the bathroom, front door not locking etc. I stayed Jan 2023, not too long after starting up again after Covid. because of this I do not want to criticize too much. I can accept the broken bits and accept that Thailand is to re-build after Covid. the fact that some hotels have survived through this, is testament to the hotels resolve. I am sure that once they start to get regular customers and become full again, they will set to improve any cracks in the service and structure of the hotel. I wish you good fortune 🙏🏼

Just about everything!

Would have appreciated hotel transport a few times a day to the main area of Chaweng beach. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade Breakfast could do with more variety.

We loved the proximity to the beach, just open the door and walk 5 meters to toes in the sand. Loved relaxing on the patio. Room was basic but clean - good value for money.

Honestly everything was amazing but if there was 1 shortfall it was the breakfast, most mornings we would go for coffee and get breakfast outside.

Lovely location, right on a gorgeous beech with deck chairs available. Room was very sweet and clean. The ladies we spoke to at reception were absolutely lovely. Pool looked amazing. Clearly well maintained. Everyone was very keen to help and very smiley.

The bed was too hard for our liking, the aircon was quite difficult to regulate, we tried to turn it down a little bit but couldn’t turn it back up when needed (perhaps user error!!!).
