The hotel facilities are excellent, providing everything you could possibly need. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful

The hotel itself was fine except the temperature. The location was good and the breakfast was good.

The temperature in our room was 28 degrees. It was impossible to sleep. They brought an air con up to our room but it was old and made zero difference. We couldn’t turn the heating off because when the power card was in it was on. We were very disappointed. It ruined our weekend as because we only got about 3 hours sleep I had to go home after checkout to sleep, instead of exploring Suzhou. Felt completely ripped off. I feel like this hotel didn’t even meet the basic need of being able to sleep. Honestly would have been more comfortable on the floor in the lobby.

The breakfast was very good. There was a good variety of Asian and Western food. The staff service was excellent, they were very polite and courteous. They were always willing to help and go that extra mile by providing extra personal service, for example pulling the chair away from the table to make it easier for the female guest to sit down. Making our morning coffee and bringing it to or table, even the chefs were very knowledgeable and skillful at their job. I had the Chinese noodle soup for breakfast one morning and watched the Chef hand make the noodles in front of me, it was amazing and the chicken noodle soup with pok chow was delicious!

The swimming pool water was very cold for the time of year. It was a lovely indoor pool but as it was January, winter in China, the water was too cold to swim in for long, we expected it to be warm as it was an indoor pool. My husband and I only spend 5 minutes in the pool. We went back to the individual changing room for a hot plunge pool dip instead, at least the water in the plunge pool was nice and hot.

Amazing choices for breakfast!, All staff were very polite and welcoming. reception staff were very very polite and welcoming, room was very good, and with facilities.
