Great views, great pool, easy to rent a car
Didn’t realize we needed to climb a ladder for the bed and front desk messed up our taxi to get to the airport on the last day.

The staff at Caldera Romantica was exceptional. The best we have ever seen. Ioanna and Panos were super friendly, extremely helpful and truly interested in our wellbeing. Ioanna from reception is the best employee imaginable. They arranged everything we could imagine without any issues and made sure we had excellent food every day. The suite was very comfortable, clean, spacious and had a great view and a good bed. The location is perfect as it is located on a more quiet part of the island, yet you can reach both the capital and most relevant sites within a 5-20 minute drive. Beautiful view, great pool and fair prices. 10/10. Would highly recommend everyone to visit and the hotel to reward their amazing staff.

We were looking for a quiet place to start our Santorini trip off. Everything went so well! The staff were super helpful, despite the weather and were so accommodating in every aspect. Also the views, oh my!! We had a long walk to the lighthouse, which we were not planning on doing at all but since we were there, we wanted to use the advantage of it. Very affordable for our expectations. Couldnt recommend more ♥️ Thank you everyone for making this stay memorable!!

Upon arrival, we were surprised with a free upgrade of our room. We had a fantastic view of the Caldera. The breakfast was superb. The staff was very friendly and the service was impeccable.

Quiet location, good base for visiting the rest of the island if you rent a car. Expectations met, clean, beautiful, excellent breakfast, friendly and smiling staff, especially the receptionist Iwanna who gave us numerous recommendations for visiting the island. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful pool and surroundings, because of weather conditions.
The water on the island, as in most of Greece, is not drinkable, but we have never experienced such salty shower water anywhere. Although we had a sea view, it was obscured by a building under construction.

Very nice hosts and delicious breakfast with local products and everyday we could taste something new. Room with pool view was great because we could see also sea and everyday sunset. Quite large poll with quiet and relaxing environment. Place great to stay if you have a car because is far from crowded places (and also far from bus stop, so it is good if you like to hike ;) ). The host has a wide range of car rentals and is very helpful.
Little negative was an uncomfortable mattress on one half of the bed and localisation which is not comfort for people who wants to explore the island on foot and with public transport.

Very quiet and relaxing, beautiful views. Can see the sunset from our room. Comfortable beds and very friendly staff, very helpful in arranging transfers.
The location requires a car to get around. The nearest bus stop is about 1.5km away.

Very windy on front balcony with no shelter.
Very noisy at front as on main road with lots of traffic in the evenings.
Front view of caldera partly blocked by huge enclosure for septic tank.
Only a couple of coffee pods given for superior room - had to pay for the rest!

Pool music was repetitive and a little loud although the staff always changed it or reduced the volume when we asked them too.

Breakfast was great. The pool is nice, big and you can order food just by pressing the button next to the sun Ed. The personnel was also nice and helpful.
The Internet is slow and doesn’t work sometimes.And Internet is important right now because we used WhatsApp to communicate to the hotel. At night, we heard loud banging of doors,music and talking from other rooms.

An excellent hotel, we booked for 3 nights, the room was very correct and spacious, fully consistent with the description, all the hotel staff were kind and responsive without exception. you will enjoy absolute calm at night. without forgetting Dimitri the hotel driver who ensured our transfer from and to the port, a very friendly and punctual man. I highly recommend it, we were very happy with our stay at the hotel. Oumaima.

a lovely place to unwind and explore the area. treat yourself with a car a travel around. The accommodation and staff were amazing and very helpful. breakfast was plentiful and a lovely welcome to Greece experience with lovely cheese.

The stay overall was very good, location is pretty calm, away from the city's crowd. The staff is welcoming and assist us in every way possible. Breakfast is delicious with variety of options. Pool is a comfortable escape from the sea side. The complete hotel was spic-and-span.
A closed wardrobe in the room, and hooks for hanging clothes / toiletry bag in the bathroom would have been good.

The most friendliest staff ever and couldn’t do enough for us . Yonana was very very good and made the trip a pleasure and helped us with everything . Breakfast was just enough for the day ahead . clean room and very nice

The staff were fantastic, especially Joanna who was a personal concierge to us arranging transport, trips & ideas of things to do on a the one rainy day we had.
The pool area was well looked after & comfortable with a pool bar.
We stayed in room 12 which overlooked the caldera & was very comfortable.
It was all good.

Everything was perfect a car would be good for less able-bodied as we walk a lot there was no local buses. The reception staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble would definitely stay again
If I was being picky the breakfast could of been better
