Breakfast was good, we helped ourselves to food and drink. Bed was comfortable. It was delightful to sit out in the garden.

The parking was a little more challenging than usual, but worked out fine right outside the front door.

The staff were lovely. We were going to a 50th birthday party in a private house a few miles away and they very kindly gave us a lift there. The room was nice and felt like a suite. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast but it was fine. We didn't spend much time at the property but it was perfect for our needs.

Convenience of location and owner very helpful.

Successfully walked into Romsey for the evening. It took 20 minutes and used footpaths rather than main roads.

Would really have preferred to be right in Romsey town but there was nothing available.

Decent self service breakfast. Clean and nicely decorated room. All amenities that one would expect.

Bathroom was very cramped and dark. Only 1 single light - above the shower, which meant that when using the wash basin, I was in shadow and unable to see well enough to shave properly. Really needs a light above the basin and mirror in that bathroom! Basin was very awkward to use as the shelf was immediately above it, so only half the basin accessible. And no plug, so had to shave in running water which was not ideal.

Breakfast was fine and location was what we needed.

The room was clean and all decorated but the en-suite was a little small. Having got out of the shower there wasn't much room to dry off and I'm not big.

The rooms were lovely & spacious with extra comfortable seating & controllable heating. Having a fridge in the room with fresh milk & water was particularly great. Hostess Julia(sorry don’t know her surname) provided a wonderful array of help yourself breakfast items including yoghurts,fruit,toast & cereals. She was an interesting character & extremely chatty!
