The house was spacious and had everything we needed! Nice big kitchen and bedrooms! Would stay here again!

We stayed here so my husband could go to a conference at UAA and I could be close to downtown for activities with kids. It was clean and comfortable with all we needed and plenty of space and privacy. The location was great for accessing downtown, riding the bus, or using Uber for getting around without a car. We enjoyed a beautiful evening walk to the lagoon. I enjoyed visiting with our host. They were very responsive to texts if we needed anything. Definitely recommend!

Everything we needed for a short stay to visit family in the area after our cruise. Casey was very friendly and accommodating. Quiet, central location, had no problems getting taxi or Ubers quickly (way cheaper than renting car for 4 days!) Was about a 18$ cab ride from airport. The beds and linens- super amazing comfy. I did wish for black out curtains by 2nd night, and the coffee table in living room( Glass table top square) is not leg friendly! Lol Would stay again, was good value! Plenty of hot water, well equipped kitchen, electric fireplace in living room, parking if u need it. My disabled mother was able to navigate the few steps in, and her walker had no problem inside the home(she is not dependent on it).

Ryan & Casey were terrific hosts and their home was perfect for us. It was a lovely location, with lots of trees, birds singing, and a sense of peacefulness. Parking was easy, as was access to Downtown Anchorage. It was a cozy & wonderful place to come home to each day. The bed was so comfortable! And we had everything we could possibly need. We loved the full kitchen and the washer and dryer. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Casey, Ryan & Ulu! ❤️

Communications between us and owners was great. Great location: close to downtown, walking trails, and playground. Living room was a nice area to relax, watch TV, bird watch, and listen to records. We are divided on the beds as some of us loved the squishy mattress’s and some thought a bit too soft. We felt the online pictures were a bit deceiving as the carpet was old, stained, and bit musty and the painted walls were in poor condition. We felt the front door lock was not very secure and bedroom blinds all have broken slats so neighbors can see inside even if they’re closed. Most of the outlets are very loose so be cautious plugging in electronics.

The property was clean and very comfortable, and included many of those small amenities that one has at home but doesn’t always think about when traveling. It was a quiet neighborhood and a central location. Casey (the host) was very welcoming as well.

We stayed at Casey’s place for about a week. The place was cute and very comfortable. There was parking in the driveway for 2 SUVs back to back, which was really nice. There was a basket of some goodies in the kitchen as well as pots & pans, etc. There was also some food in the cabinets which we didn’t use, but was nice to know it was there. There was coffee and 2% milk. 😊. The place was a little worn - like some marks/divots on the kitchen floor - and a spot on the living room rug, which we didn’t even notice until the end. We were lucky to meet Casey in person and she was very quick at responding whenever we texted about anything. It was close to our house that was having some work done, so the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!

My sister and I came to town to surprise my son for his 50th birthday. All turned out great and our place was only 5 minutes from his house. The house was great as was centrally located to get around town. The owners did a great job keeping the walkways and driveway cleared of snow and needless to say it snowed every single day we were there. We definitely stay there again if we come into Anchorage.

We had a great stay at Casey's place. Met our needs perfectly! The master bedroom is large with a comfortable bed, the second bedroom had two beds that worked well for our two teens. Bathroom was large, laundry available. Fully furnished with comfortable furniture in the living room, a nice sized kitchen with coffee and a coffee maker and a nice snack basket for guests. Located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood with parking in a carport. Very clean and easy to find everything. Very relaxing stay that met all of our needs, we will definitely stay here again. Casey and Ryan are excellent hosts!

I chose this property based on the reviews, pictures, and that the host and her husband made it a point to say ‘all are welcome here’ in their listing. Every part of our stay exceeded my expectations. The house was clean, had snacks (which were huge when we got in super late), and felt like home. The welcome binder was full of information and recommendations. The bed was insanely comfortable. There were bikes and helmets to use, and the location is literally a one minute ride from the awesome Anchorage waterfront trail system. Casey, her dogs, and her nephew were just lovely human beings and although brief, I felt like in our conversation I was talking to a friend I’d known for years. If we ever are fortunate enough to make it back to Alaska, I would be jump at the opportunity to stay here again. So many thanks!

We had a fantastic stay in Casey’s house in Anchorage. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Little touches throughout the house made it feel homely. Location was good—we walked to downtown on our first morning through the nearby park.

We just had a few days to explore the Anchorage area, and this was a perfect location for our base. The notebook in the kitchen had loads of info and maps! We would stay again.

Quiet and comfortable. Casey was very proactive messaging for easy checkin and providing all comforts of home. Enjoyed local Moose Tooth, Anchorage Museum, Earthquake Park and the Midnight Sun Brewing Co.

We loved our stay, host was awesome we will be back in winter sometime soon, we will be staying again if available when we do.

Very centrally located close to downtown and outdoor activities. Very comfortable. Casey was easy to communicate with. She provided many breakfast foods, milk in the fridge, lots of tea and coffee options, and a Brita pitcher of water in the fridge. Great place to stay!

The property is located around many walking trails with a creek that runs through it, absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and there’s room to sit outside and soak it all in. The property was clean and spacious. The bed was amazing! Casey and Ryan were incredibly friendly, happy to chat and point us in the direction we needed. Their yard is beautiful and their pups were adorable and friendly!

we spent two nights at Casey's place after a week of cycling, hiking, and kayaking. Casey welcomed us with open arms (and some lovely smoked salmon), gave us tips of where to eat and walk in the neighborhood, and was more than responsive and kind. Her place is lovely, with everything one could need for either a day or a week from home. Highly recommend both Casey and her place.

This rental was so comfortable and perfect for our stay! The location is superb - easy and quick to downtown and midtown, close to the airport. The amenities, snacks, comfy beds and space were so appreciated! The owners are wonderful and awesome communicators. This is SUCH a better place to stay than a hotel!!

Easy access to downtown and a park is within walking distance, quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable, place was clean, plenty of room for family of 4, nice to have a washer and dryer to use. There is a binder with recommendations of things to do that we used for the two-night stay. Would stay again if we go back to Anchorage in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at Birdsongbandb! Casey has thought of everything that you might need during your stay! And they are right next door in case of anything else! It’s in a nice residential area with shops and restaurants just a few minutes drive away. It rained most of the time we were there, so we welcomed this nice cozy place to spend the time.

Enjoyed the scenic and walkable to food/groceries/town location. Hosts were next door and very helpful. Enjoyed our 2-night stay.

We stayed two nights and appreciated how super clean and comfortable the place was, plus it’s really close to the greenway and coastal trail. The host Casey was extremely kind and accommodating when our trip plans changed at the last minute and we needed to stay a little longer. She also loaned us bikes to explore the biking trails to make the most of a beautiful sunny day. This is a wonderful place to stay in Anchorage. Way, way better than a hotel!

The house is in a great location by a park and within 8 minutes of downtown. The house is exactly as the pictures show. Plenty of space for a family or two couples.

Our lodging at Songbird was awesome. We couldn't have asked for or expected more. It was like a home away from home. Everything we needed was at the home and very clean. It's in a great location, close to town and a beautiful lagoon with a walking path that meets up with the Tony Knowles Path. There are moose in the area and plenty of Alaskan birds. Casey & Ryan are friendly, thoughtful and respectful. They introduced us to their two dogs, Ulu and Olive and we were able to meet Casey's Mom, Dad and Brother who were also so friendly. They were all willing to give us ideas on what to see and where to go. We really couldn't have asked for more. The Best VRBO we've stayed in. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Pam & John

Basically slept here. Didn’t spend much time in the house.

Not too far from downtown. We had no issues with the area. Not too far down the street is a nice little trail where you can walk and see water wildlife. Would stay here again if we go back to Alaska. The owners were very nice and gave us ideas to do while we were there for the week.
