The lock of the bathroom upstairs is not working. Glad it offered board games, but the games miss some parts.

We didn’t like the pool wasn’t included on our stay. We just look at the pictures and show it has pool but it’s not included when we get there we get frustrated because we only made the reservation because we saw that house pool for the kids. 

This condo was nicely decorated. The furniture was a bit dated but adequate. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there extra pillows and blankets. The location is about 4 miles from Ludlow. Parking was right out front. The wifi worked well.

Vacassa is impossible to work with. We wanted to extend by one day but after many emails from different people it was too much of a mess. They bombard you day and night with text messages, rules, and incessant attempts to get you to use their app instead of Booking. com. They make no bones about wanting you to book directly with them in the future. They hound you for car information and warn you that your reservation is not complete (so you do not have a reservation). They gave us a deadline of two weeks before arrival to give them this information (or else). The problem....for people flying in and renting a car, there is NO car information to give until the car is rented!! Many of the photos for this property show a swimming pool. When you arrive, you will find that the weekly cost for a family of four to use the pool is $900! The A/C for this property is very marginal. On most days we could not get the common rooms below 80 degrees. Several things needed attention, especially the dishwasher which never seemed to shut off. When we arrived, a colony of ANTS could be found running around on the dining table. Attempts to vacuum them did not deter them from coming back. Obviously there has been an infestation for a while. This was really gross and we finally gave up using the table. The very small wooden deck had chairs with mildew. If you sat on them when they were damp, it stained your clothes. And, gas grills on wooden decks? Most condo associations have banned that practice. The only TV was too small for the room. I really feel badly for the owners of this condo. Vacassa basically ruined our vacation.

The apartment is spacious, clean, and well equipped.

We asked for a late check out but didn't get it. Some glasses and utensils were dirty.

The Jacuzzi bath was broken

The beds were comfortable, nice fireplace and there was plenty of bathrooms.

Disposal broken, ice maker not working, tv not hooked up. Towels rough and not adequate supply only one bar of soap for tub and shower. Cob webs, toast in toaster, water bottle under bed and dresser. Heat marks on furniture. The Castle did not want us using facilities because we did not book through them and COVID.
