it was close to the airport and good for a one night stay before driving 4 hours. breakfast was very good

It was clean, had access to parking, had a beautiful inside space with a birdhouse and the staff was friendly.

I have stayed at Casa Lima twice. This time I didn’t feel the same friendliness and warmth. I was given a room that was not the one I booked. Completely different to the photos. No air conditioning, no fridge, no safety deposit box, etc. The name, Junior Suite, suggests something reasonably large which it was not. Small En-suite would be more accurate. Asked about this twice but got no response. Booking a taxi to the airport early in the morning seemed overly complicated and expensive. It does have many redeeming features, the breakfast, court yard, etc but I left feeling it had been a victim of its own success.

A clean Charming hotel with a wonderful Courtyard and a decent breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful.

our room was a bit light as external lights stayed on all night but we had a budget room so to be expected there would be a compromise somewhere.

A great place to spend the first night in Costa Rica! It is not far from the airport, safe, clean, has a great garden and the breakfast was delicious :) We really enjoyed it.

One of the bathrooms was leaking water, but that was the only issue.

I made a last minute same reservation while traveling from the U.S. I arrived at 10pm to SJ and the Front Desk contacted me and waited for my arrival. The Rooms are modest but Clean and with all basic things you need. Good Value for Money. I had an appointment next day at 7am in the US Embassy (that is walking distance from the B&B) and when I came back I had a nice breakfast including coffee, natural juice, fresh fruits, costa Rican homemade breed (pan casero).

Mattress was a little noise. They could be upgraded.

Th e owners are great and very accommodating. The coffee was plentiful and available for the afternoon coffee-time as well.

We wish the two rooms that we booked would have been closer together.

located right in town, off street parking for 2 cars. staff very accommodating with quick laundry turn around.

one of the showers had an electrical fault that shocked my daughter while showering. trying to explain to the staff only resulted in getting the breaker reset so someone else could get shocked.

rooms were mixed, our room the shower didn’t work very well, and bathroom was not especially clean, although other room was good

super nice people who made us feel at home. great value for money. pretty garden and pond(with fish , little sharks and turtle!)

lady was lovely in the morning she served us breakfast and got us a taxi thank you.

the man who checked us in at night was very un interested and not that polite when we asked questions. room was not clean hairs all over the tiles. and did t understand you cant get access to plugs easily from bed or the lamp. ripped and dirty towels
