very very old, antiquated, looks dirty, the towel in my bathroom was used and an open soap packet in the sink....the TV die not work...the control remote was filthy....I almost left...until I opened the bed...and smelled the sheets and they were clean...so I pulled off the old comforter and slept in the bed...45€/ night is a rip off!...I have been in hostels for pilgrims better than this....much better... Super far from the aqueduct...20 min walk...anyway...I would NEVER go back...ever..

Basic, yes, but adequate. Not too bad a price for Segovia and an easy to find location directly opposite the RENFE station. Really close to the Camino de Santiago too which is why and when I used it. Meals and full bar service available on the ground floor. I was in an annexe a little further along the street but that was no problem. Good strong WiFi.

The booking.com website said hotel is opposite the train station. Whilst not s lie this is very misleading. The hotel is opposite the old station which only serves old trains. The AVE station is a ten minute bus ride out if the city. This was my main reason for choosing the hotel. It was also a 10 minute bus ride into the city which cost money. The rooms are on the ground floor but to access them you have to go down a flight of stairs, cross a hall and go back up the other side. This needs to be made clear in the details. I have mobility difficulties making this trip impossible. The staff can take a shirt cut through the restaurant and u feel this option should be given to guests. This is a restaurant/hostal so I would expect dinner to be served. It is not although the hostal boasts home cooking. So coming back for dinner on first night I had to go back out again. I was tired and would have expected to be told this somewhere

Loved the location, very pleasant residential area with local bars and friendly residents, dont be worried about being in front of the station ! Breakfast is great, taken on the pavement in front, no tourists !

Fabulous value for money, friendly and authentic Spain, loved the singing canaries ! Dont expect anyone to try to speak English, if you cant be bothered to try to speak some Spanish, sign language and mime are acceptable 😊 Rooms have poor soundproofing, but if you walk to the castle and back, as we did, you'll sleep like a log !
