Excellent location ...ten minutes walk to town, train station and steam railway. Nice and clean. Nice and quiet. Owner really putting effort into improving what he can eg. External painting. Breakfast was plentiful. Bus stop outside for cromer or Norwich. External bike shed and parking on site. Beds comfortable. Value for money

Creaky floorboards, was awakened at 6am. No hangers in the wardrobe.

The room was clean and spacious for my needs as a one night stay. It was easy to do the self-check in with a message from the host ahead of my arrival which was really helpful. There was a wide selection of choice for the continental breakfast, and the bed was comfortable.

I asked ahead of my stay about storage for my bicycle. I was told there was safe bicycle storage. On the day of arrival I was told the shed was not lockable and I could only lock my bike to a dining room chair which was in there already. This is not safe or secure storage for bicycles. My room was on the first floor and roadside which is usually fine. As there was a local shop next door, there were frequently cars coming to park outside and as it was a main through-road, the road was quite busy until 7/8pm, and busy the next morning. The breakfast was self-service (fine) but the host appeared to be lurking in the next room without a friendly welcome when I arrived. He popped in to offer me tea/coffee after I had been there for a while. I thought this was a bit odd/awkward with the host nearby but not being overly welcoming/friendly or engaged with the guests.

Excellent breakfast, super clean/ fresh room+ towels, superb communication throughout and super helpful. Really good value for money! Late arriving to designated time, had cycled and was wet & bedraggled with a dirty bike! Unfortunately, bike shed was unsecure so popped it in room - no fussing. Good experience, thank you.

I needed a USB port to charge my phone ( I hadn't brought a plug, shame because there were masses sockets!) Nothing not too like.

The room was very warm,but can be fixed by opening a window or turning down the radiator,there was only tea bags and sugar in the room,no coffee or milk,apart from that a good stay,also the room we booked I (Kandy)was expecting a king bed,but was just a double .

Friendly Staff and host, kindly let us book in a little earlier , our room was spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable. and well stocked with all we needed, the breakfast was amazing, a large continental breakfast with so much to choose from. location was very good for the beech, and quiet. we would we stay again.

The place was clean but there was no mirror in the main room only a very small one in the bathroom, you couldn't open the wardrobe door as the door hit the bedside drawer, think the room could do with the furniture being moved about and a full length mirror in the room. Shower was lovely and bed was very comfortable.

Nothing we liked.

Decor was tacky and dingy. Bed was uncomfortable No cooked breakfast. No cooked breakfast offered. No staff. Self service on food which had been sitting on counter for 2 hours uncovered. Stale hard inedible. No heat in dining room Felt like we were staying in a half way house! …..not suitable for holidaymakers. Room was cold, heating went off in the day, so we used hairdryer to heat room! This was not worth the money, and we will not recommend it in any way and we will be requesting a refund.

The house next door was having a very noisy party until very late, not the fault of the guest house, which was very quiet.

Location and the fact that it was available! Warm and comfortable room.. decent shower… lots to choose from on the continental breakfast… honest price for our short stay.

My wife did struggle without a mirror in the bedroom to apply her makeup & style her hair…. I appreciate there was a mirror in the bathroom but I am told that isn’t the same! ( she does have a disability and cannot stand for any length of time)
