It was beautiful and comfortable for 4 of us, close to everything as well

The cleanliness, at first glance when you walk in you don’t notice, but as we were needing to use things we noticed a lot that was not very clean if clean at all. You can’t always rely on people to do the right thing and clean properly before they leave, I would suggest a regular deep clean also, and an inspection of kitchen appliances and utensils, a small plastic cutting board needs to be thrown out, I grabbed it out of the cupboard and it was disgusting and felt “furry”. Leaky tap in bath and another in the on suite basin needs fixing, also toilet in there keeps running. Laundry also filthy and maybe find something smaller than the phone book to level out the machine ( it did make us laugh though)😂

A lovely unit, in a brilliant location. the layout of unit is designed for privacy, and its furnishing are comfortable and classy. The appliances and other facilities are good, and relatively easy to operate. My stay here was with a friend, and I was very happy with our choice. Our hosts, Tracey and Barrie, couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks and we look forward to staying again.

Hosts Tracey and Barry sent us plenty of information in advance, and we just texted on arrival at the airport and they were there to meet us with the keys. The location is great for restaurants, cafes and bars, the Botanical Gardens and cinemas, and the apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Short walk to supermarket.

Could have provided more dishwashing and cleaning materials.

Couldn’t fault the location - it had everything you needed at your finger tips.

While our hosts were lovely and the location was great - I think it would have benefited from adding a few extra little essentials to the stay - mini body wash, shampoo etc - and while there was a washer and dryer there was no laundry detergent (for someone staying there for just 5 days - I wasn’t going to bring a box of detergent with me), the hand soap in the bathrooms were very watery so it was constantly leaking on the sink, no dishwashing liquid for a quick wash (didn’t bother using the dishwasher for 6 plates), there were no tissue boxes around and one of the lamps in the main bedroom was faulty and kept cutting in and out, there was also no lamp in the lounge area so we had to keep the kitchen light on while our twin boys slept on the pull out sofa, the shower pressure was little to none and there were stains in the main shower and toilet seat (that clearly weren’t coming off).

The location was the best. The cafes were on our doorstep. The free city bus was a 3 mins walk and also across the road from the Botanical Gardens. Rundle Mall was a 10 mins walk. The quality of the furniture & decor of the apartment a 10/10. Kathleen was lovely. She met us at the apartment with the keys & walked with us around the nearby neighbourhood recommending good cafes.

We were not told that the lift wasn't working & out of service for a least a month. As a result, my friends weren't able to stay with us as they had mobility issues & had to find accommodation elsewhere at short notice. 3 flights of stairs even for us was a chore. Other smaller things were omitted in the apartment eg No Shampoo in both bathrooms, (oddly enough the conditioner was provided), No teaspoons to stir the tea/coffee, No hot water in tap in 2nd bathroom. A small bottle of dish washing detergent for washing smaller items would've be nice. I would've given this property a higher score but the lift was a deal breaker for us this time. Finally, make sure you have your finances in order when making payment. The owners only accept the credit card you booked with.
