It is a lovely property, with everything you need. The bed was super comfy.
There was a lot of dog hair on the sofa and cushions. The water from the over the bath shower leaked onto the floor.

We had a good 2-night stay at The Stables, Windy Bank Hall. Everything was fine and exceeded our expectations - booking, communication, entry, facilities, comfort, equipment, Wifi, etc. Would certainly stay here again if the opportunity arose and would recommend it to anyone else wanting to explore the Peak District. The accommodation is comfortable, and we particularly appreciated the bubbly left for us by the hosts. A good location for seeing hares.
It was windy during our stay and so we decided not to use the hot tub even though we were offered help with the cover.
We found the wifi was slower than we would have liked, and some of the TV channels we wanted to watch did not have a good reception.

Very clean. Considering it is a pet-friendly place, I found very little evidence of hair from previous canine guests.
Felt it was a little cold, but we're visiting from a warm country, so we're not used to the cold.

Especially well appointed property with great facilities, located in lovely surroundings. Really accommodating hosts, and worthy of note is dog friendly facilities too (dog paddock, dog blankets, space to walk and roam with dogs locally). Highly recommended for a great getaway.

Amazing place to stay, the hosts are lovely, welcoming, friendly and clearly care alot about there guests. Lots of helpful and useful contact information before the stay / easy to book, locate, and ask questions. They went above and beyond for our family and pet. The dog was as well catered for as we was, really thought through accommodation with homely touches and everything you need to stay. Felt relaxed upon arrival and leaving. highly recommend the hot tub !

A Stunning rural location very safe for a solo traveller set within a small private country hall with barn conversion holiday and short stay accommodation. I picked it as it was very accessible to the M1 to commute into Sheffield and Leeds . It was immaculate and being dog friendly was a huge bonus with my little dog my constant companion when travelling for work . It’s home from home and then some ! Stunning bathroom freestanding bath large shower amazing bedroom , kitchen had everything I ordered a Greek takeaway from a local place and had a lovely breakfast at Samuels kitchen just 2 mins by car . Electric vehicle charger was very convenient as was the super fast WiFi and Netflix was perfect after work with my takeaway. I will continue to book my local stays here as it’s offers unbeatable value compared to other local hotels and b&bs . They even have a hot tub you can book in advance and a Doggy Paddock ! WOW what a find

The view from the heated spa was lovely, great bathroom and the accommodation was very warm and comfortable. The property was as advertised and the hosts were very welcoming and professional. Quiet rural location which was what we were wanting.

Lovey accomidation fantastic views. Out side area to sit of evening enjoy view. It very very hot at the time of visit. Only downside as it was to hot to in car or take dogs out in heat.a shaded area would have been great.

Fantastic views especially from the hot tub!! Lovely little town Stocksbridge nearby which was extremely useful. Great first holiday with our 6 month old. Very homely feel ☺️
Oven not spotless but didn’t bother us too much. We bought a fan from one of the local shops as was so hot with the weather and not being able to have windows open due to flies/insects etc but once we had that we were happy

Gorgeous accommodation, big free-standing bath and amazing shower, fully kitted out kitchen, comfy lounge.
We were snowed in and had the best time chilling together as a family.
Baby friendly, our 10month old son loved it. Hosts are exceptional and really went above and beyond.

Absolutely everything about Windy bank hall is spot on from the fantastic location with amazing views to the brilliant accommodation ..which was sparkling . We will definitely be staying again in the near future.
