We only stayed for 2 nights but it was Great! There are things to do at the resort so you don’t have to really leave. We came to go to a few attractions and my son had a blast. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. We are already planning to come back and WestGate will be where we stay!

The unit itself was clean and acceptable. The studio units A&B at this complex are accessible through a single entry.
Not the fault of the host, but the other unit was occcupied by an individual partied during their stay and the smell of Marijuana permiated into our unit. Since the complex is in close proximity to attractions, noise from the pools went to 11 pm. Again not fault of host.

Started off rough with a 30 minute wait to register for guests. There was a separate shorter line for owners. I timed it when I saw 17 people ahead of me. When I got to the desk, one night was reserved instead of two. One call to Jake and that was quickly resolved. When we got to the room, the AC was not blowing. Thermostat was set at 75. Maintenance came and unit was frozen up. He fixed it and it was fine that night. Next night, AC froze up again. Wifi didn’t really work the whole time. Front desk said there were too many people on it. Checkout was 10am. Housekeeping started knocking at 945 asking when we were leaving.

This property was perfect for me. My daughter has a dance competition at Orange County Convention Center. It was a short drive over there. The check in process was super easy. The room was nice and had a beautiful view overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the large jacuzzi tub. I ran every morning out by the lakes. It was beautiful. There were several pools to choose from. The one I chose was nice and not overcrowded. The last night parking was a little crowded so I had to walk a bit but I didn’t mind. The resort is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the parks.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Our room was way nicer than the picture showed as it looked like it was recently redone. It was a beautiful room with a great view of Disney's nightly fireworks. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching them. The whole place was great and had so much there you didn't even need to leave the resort except to go to theme parks and such. We definitely plan on coming back here and staying even longer to enjoy everything it has to offer. The staff was so friendly and great. We loved it there.

We have been coming to this resort for years, usually with our kids. This time was a romantic outing for myself and my husband. The room wasn't the cleanest. There were dead flies on the bed and in the tub. But other than that it was amazing.

The condo was fine, location was good however, there were a few items that made the Steelers enjoyable.
First, the ice machines did not work, second, the vending machines either did not work, or we’re not filled, third, the door to our combined units was broken, if it closed, we could not use the key and it took 20 minutes for the manager to get maintenance assistance. The hot tub at the pool did not work. Last, we weren’t aware of the extra charges to use the fitness area, the fee to go to the water park, or to rent equipment for Pickleball, etc.
Spy those promise, the staff was very friendly.

Room is a studio, as stated. Has a Jacuzzi tub (although a privacy curtain would be nice!), a counter kitchen but with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and dishes, etc. All great for a studio. Has a nice balcony set up to enjoy. I read about the music, but had no idea it was totally blasting from right below until 10pm, definitely for a high school age group. Kudos to have such involvement for this age group, but kept us inside.

Timeshare resort
Pros:
-Room was clean and nice
-Location close to Universal and I believe Disney(didn't go to Disney)
-Lots pools and can literally stay at resort for pools, game room, Waterpark($20 per day)
-Close to restaurants and stores
-Responsive front desk
-Nice balcony
Cons:
- Pool is open until 11pm with kids that seem like the slept all day and were chugging Pepsi, Coke, and Mountain Dew
-Loud music to at least 10pm
-Blackout curtains would be preferred over the hanging blinds(not sure of the name)
-Night light for the bathroom
-No warnings about how late the music will be
Overall a good trip. If you plan on going to bed early and can't sleep through noise, you might want to consider not going or possibly a quieter section.

Nice resort in great location
Check in took 25 minutes but ran smoothly. Room was very clean; bed very comfortable; view from screened in patio scenic; all resort staff were friendly; pool areas clean and a lot of pool side seating; plenty to do at resort and in nearby area. My only complaint is our Vrbo host listed check out as 11am and it was at 10am which caused issues with our plans. Host did not attempt to address the issue caused by his listing and left it up to us to address with front desk.

Very nice location!
Checking in was a little longer process than I expected but once we got checked in, it was awesome. The room was just the right size and the bed was perfect! Everything is close by and the people were super nice!

All good other than checkout mix-up
Overall nice place and stay. Somehow mix up over our checkout date and the resort checked us out 2 days early. We arrived to that wonderful surprise the second last day. On a high note, Jake was on top of it immediately and resolved the issue for us.

This was the best place we have stayed while visiting the Orlando area. So close to all the attractions. The staff was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better check-in/check-out process. Definitely would stay here again! Thank you

Amazing Service!
We loved our stay at the west gate resort and spa! The owner of the unit is very kind and helpful. The check in process was really easy and the there was a no contact check out which was awesome! This property does not lie they are just minutes from universal, Disney, and a bunch of other cool and fun places to visit!
