This is our 3rd time staying at this property(different condo). We love the condo complex as it is small and intimate. This trip we were able to meet a few of the owners. It would have been nice to have a couple fold up beach chairs to use to sit at the beach and enjoy the sunsets. It would also be recommended to leave a full roll of toilet paper as both bathrooms were equipped with partial rolls and we definitely ran out. Overall we loved our stay.

Don’t do it. This property is managed by Vacasa they are the worst. We got there and security didn’t have our reservation and had to call to get it. We get our bags up to the 4th floor to find the door codes don’t work at all. We call customer support on the phone forever. He can’t fix it has to call a local company to come out. We report the WiFi password doesn’t work either. We finally get in. But they still haven’t resolved WiFi. They now say it’s too late. Just don’t unless you want to spend half your vacation being annoyed. Just not worth it.

It was a beautiful location and great views and we felt safe with our family staying there. The pools were great and the staff was all very kind. The unit itself could use some updating and the AC in the main living area didn't blow cold air but we told the management at check out since we only stayed two days. Tortuga surf guys were also great and allowed us to rent a board on the spot. Pura vida!

Beautiful condo— BUT AIR CONDIONER IN MAIN ROOM WAS BROKEN—- the WHOLE TIME !!!
Beach was a beautiful view from the condo patio, but when you went to it, it was covered with rocks and gravel!!! Not fun !!!
Also HUGE PILES OF DEAD WOOD ON THE BEACH !!!
So the ad was accurate regarding the APPEARANCE of the condo, BUT NOT THE FUNCTION OF THE CONDO OR THE FUN AT THE BEACH !!!! BIG FISAPPOINTMENT!!

We stayed at Paloma Blanca B4 for 6 nights at the end of April. It's a great spot with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of amenities like towels and soaps. It was really clean when we arrived.
The two balconies were incredible, with views of the ocean, surfers, and sunset. Appliances like the A/C, washer/dryer, and dishwasher worked well. The wifi was really fast too. The unit is in the upper corner with elevator access.
Our host Roger was super accommodating and friendly, as were the guards. Outside the unit, the pools were incredible and clean, and the property has a gate with direct access to the beach (the town's best surf lessons, by Tortuga, pick up right out front). Free parking was provided in the lot across the street.
The location is definitely outside of downtown Jaco and probably a 15-20 minute walk to the center, but this means it's quieter and more relaxing.
We did find a couple large crickets ("grillos") inside, which spooked us a bit, but that might be to be expected in a tropical place like this.
Overall, we'd highly recommend this apartment!

Amazing location and amenities
We're a family of three (child was almost 2) embarking on our first trip post-pandemic. We'd been to Costa Rica before, but not the Jaco area. We were looking for something close to San Jose (not wanting to get off a long plane trip and drive 4 hrs). We also wanted something beachfront with a pool. Honestly, La Paloma Blanca could not have been more perfect. The rooms were a good size, very clean, and we loved the showers. We were at the end of the building so didn't worry as much about disturbing other people the first night. Our car was secured, but easy to access- many thanks to the security folks who were on it every time we needed to get the car! Vacasa was extremely prompt answering my questions beforehand and even checked in on us during our stay. All interactions were very professional and friendly! The grounds were immaculate and the pools were really nice. Our child turned out to prefer the beach more, and it was so easy to just walk out for an hour or so- not worry about parking or hoards of people. We loved the beach, good waves, but shallow for a good bit so we could play in the water. The water was warm!! The sand is dark but washes off easily. It was a nice long beach, and very quiet. Beautiful sunsets!!! There were several restaurants close by that were tasty and convenient. We liked the location a bit outside of Jaco, but it was a quick 5 min drive or 20 min walk if we wanted to go there. From our location we went to Manuel Antonio easily, drove up to Bijugal waterfall (spelling), and went a few other beaches. Other beaches had more clear water, but the shore break made it not as fun for a small child, so we preferred "our" beach. There seemed like so many activities to do in the area so I definitely see us coming back! I read probably thousands of reviews of where to stay and I was so pleased with our choice.

No hot water, door code didn’t work so check-in process sucked, and AC would shut off automatically for no reason frequently

Perfect location
Safe, quiet complex with great ocean views and quick, easy access to the beach.
The unit has a large king bed, and two twin beds, with a pull out couch. The beds were comfortable, but the pull out couch was so/so. Don’t count on it for a good night sleep. The rooms all had blackout curtains.
Two bathrooms with showers, one in the master and one in the main area.
The complex is awesome. It’s so clean and the pools are exceptional. The staff is friendly. You will have to park across the small street if you have a rental (only owners can park in the gates. The parking is gated and locked and your car is safe there.
You can watch the surf from your balcony, and it’s about a two minute walk to the beach.
Plenty of food options close, but you’ll have ti drive into the main Jaco street for the best options. Still, only a few minute drive.
Vacasa is a professional management company - they have exceptional communication, quick response, and work hard to make your experience great.

The rooms are spacious, clean and decorated so nice. The grounds are gorgeous. The staff is wonderful AND the location could not be better.

First visit to Jaco
It's a small condo complex that is very nicely kept. 60 second walk from the unit to the ocean. 24 hour security that are both friendly and helpful. I sat most mornings of our 11 day stay watching the very colorful macaw's fly by from the covered deck. Sunset! you bet

Property was great. Property manage (Vacasa) was worse than useless - gave us incorrect info and never responded to fix broken toilet.

We love this place from the pool, to the kitchen and the washer and dryer was a bonus. Get location to the beach. Wish there would have been more flexible when we got into town and to put our luggage.

Not too satisfied
Check-in did not go smoothly, because the login code did not work or was not sent in time. I've had this problem with VACASA before. You can't expect all customers to carry a smartphone. Also, the internet connection was slow. Everything else was OK.

Nice Place bad communication
The unit was nice and the grounds were beautiful. The people at the place were very nice. Our problem was with the communication with the property management. When we arrived, we had a little problem finding the place. We called Vacasa and they told us to contact Adriana. We had tried to contact here previously Via email and phone but had gotten no response. We again tried to contact her when we were in Jaco and no response. We eventually found the unit and our stay was fine. Then when we were preparing to leave, we tried again with no response. A few days later Adriana finally contacted us and told us she had been off the schedule and wondered what our problem was. She said that I should have contact Vacasa. I told her we had and they told us to contact you. I said if you were off then maybe they should have had someone else as our contact. She said something to the effect of " why, what was your emergency". We live in Costa Rica and are very experienced in traveling the country now, but I was thinking that if this was our first time in CR or if another traveler who wasn't as experienced had had this interaction, it probably would have been an "emergency" to them.

Beautiful Condo on the Beach
This condo is on the top floor facing the ocean. There are two balconies and screen doors that allow the cooling ocean breezes to blow through the apt. No A/C required in the evening. It has all the comforts of home. Quite luxurious, very nice. I enjoyed my three night stay.

Beautiful Beach Area
Paloma Blanca is locates in a beautiful, quiet setting away from the more crowded areas of town. The unit was perfect, has a great ocean view and the sound of waves crashing. The outdoor dining area was a great place to spend the evening hours. Having a full kitchen is very helpful - eliminating the need to eat out every meal. If you want to go to town, it is a relatively short beach walk during the day and a US $2 taxI ride at night. will definitely return!

Best Complex and Location in Jacó
Quiet beach, fantastic views, clean pool, and great guard staff. Paloma Blanca is a great way to combine a stay in the bustling city of Jacó and a private beach location. The home is just as it appears in photos. Fantastic sunset views, three pools, steps from the beach.

Great stay and condo
We live in Santa Ana and this is our third time staying in B4 at La Paloma Blanca. It’s a beautiful condo with a great ocean view. Beautiful grounds and pools just steps from the ocean. Even though it rained we had another fun weekend in Jaco with friends! Will definitely be back!

Great condo
This is our second time staying in B4. Love being on the 4th floor with a beautiful ocean view. The condo is super clean with bright paint colors and pretty wall decor.

This was an incredibly relaxing and fun place to stay. The condo had everything you could ask for with a great view of the ocean. The pool and grounds were beautiful with a great staff. The beach was steps away. We would definitely come back here again!

Weekend get-a-way from San Jose with friends
The condo was beautiful. We’ve stayed in several condos in La Paloma Blanca. They are all nice but this one was decorated very tropical with nice bright paint and pictures on the walls.

A wonderful home away from home
We loved the sunset view, access to the beach, pools, and friendly very helpful staff!! The beds were comfortable!! Close to the Jaco main drag but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Loved listening to the waves each night. It was amazing!!!

Great time in Jaco
Worked with Vacasa and dealt with Ana and Lisle who run the Jaco Franchise. Everything went great, communication was superb, the Condo was clean, functional, comfortable, great Ocean View, secure, safe and perfect for any family or couples getaway when staying in Jaco.
