Very good location for walking and comfortable

This is a great apartment in the lively and very likeable village of Zakros on the frankly stunning eastern tip of Crete. I have been coming to Crete for some years now and this was my best accomodation so far. It's basically a small flat with a bedroom and a living room/kitchen. The apartment has plenty of storage space, a washing machine, TV, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The small balcony overlooks the charming main square of Zakros with its Taverna and cafes, which makes one feel one is part of the action (noise is not an issue at all as the doors a solid and the bedroom is on the backside of the building). The host, Maria, is very warm and helpful. She showered me with small gifts and even paid for my drink when we happened to end up at the same taverna one night. I will definitely stay at George's House again when I am next in the area. Highly recommended!

The Apartment was clean and tidy, the Host was very friendly and sweet.
you have everything you need in the Apartment. It is located in the main square, close to the kafenios where you still can enjoy a truly greek food and Experience with the friendly People of zakros.
Only 15 minutes by car from the amazing beaches of xerokampos. Highly reccomended. Thank you for everything Maria! .

It is a very nice appartment with a central location on the village's square. We enjoyed the warm welcome, the hiking opportunities and the lovely beach of Kato Zakros.

Maria is very welcoming, the flat is great and very clean, just above Zarkos main square. The bed is very good and the kitchen fully equiped. The price is low and the place is really great.

The location is perfect, right in the center. It can be a little noisy, but the bedroom is in the back and was very quiet. it is not new, but appeared to be freshly painted. The furnishings were comfortable. The owner is friendly and keeps a close watch on the house.
There was only one pan in the kitchen.

The apartment is facing the centre square of Zakros and is big with everything you need. Maria was amazing, she is very kind and hospitable, she makes you feel at home!

We really enjoyed our stay at George's House! Placed in the center of Zakros village, it has a market nearby to cover the daily needs but at the same time it's quiet and a very comfortable place to stay. The rooms are very spacious, there is airconditioning and ceiling fans and the host was very kind to offer us some stuff for breakfast and to be available at any time we needed. Highly recommended place if you're visiting the area.

The location, facilities, cleanliness and friendliness of the owners are all perfect! It's is a very comfortable and spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking the town square. It is very close to the walking routes of the area.
The only negative things we encountered in this very nice apartment were that the door of the bathroom couldn't be opened from the inside (the doorknob didn't work, so don't close it to avoid you get locked in) and you have to hold the showerhead (but that's a common issue in Greece)!
