This is right on the beach, beautiful sunsets and the food is excellent. Great place to stop for a brief stay if you are travelling on down the highway. Only three miles from Jaco if you want to check it out. Thanks Juan Pura Vida!

The parking is very limited but if you are renting a room they try to make sure there is a space available for your rental.

I loved the location. Right in front the sea. Most of the staff was very friendly.

There is no pool. And they only accepted cash to pay for the stay. I didn't know that prior booking.

The location was perfect, couldn't be closer to the beach. The breakfast that was included was good (typical Gallo Pinto). The restaurant was also nice.

The room was damp and had an unpleasant smell, the window couldn't be locked (ground floor, could be opened from outside). Had to pay for accommodation in cash, which was not ideal, since we had to take an Uber to the near town Jaco to get to the bank/ATM. The main disappointment was the staff, generally in Costa Rica the people were really warm, friendly and nice, yet here most of the staff was aloof and unresponsive to our requests (one of the examples: had to order coffee 2 times - still didn't get it, even though the place was almost empty).

the room is few steps from the beach and the sunset there is awesome. it is the right place to be if you like to surf and dancing by the beach

It is mostly beach bar with 3 rooms. Food (included and not) is delicious. Staff is nice. The beach is superb for surfing. The problem is that you have no privacy except when you hide behind curtains in your room. That is because path to the bar is next to the only window of your room and there is no garden only to the “hotel” guests. It seems ok for staying one night but 3 nights with lack of privacy, noise from road and bar were too much for me.

Services and facilities. The services because the personnel was not very helpful/kind, you have to be insistent in order to be assisted. for instance: - The safe deposit box on my room was not working, the first day I requested to be repaired or changed, and they took 2/3 days to do it, which was almost all my stay (4 nights). - One day they did bot clean my room, I still dont know why, even though I left the sign on all day. The facilities because there was supposed to be a private parking, but in the end It was shared with the restaurant and there was no enough room, which may implicate you may not have a free spot to leave your car.

The location is perfect, right on the beach and further away from the city. You've got surf right in front of your doorstep, the restaurant has great food and drinks and cool live music on weekends (it's buzzing on weekends until late). The owner is lovely and you might fit in a surf on the same wave as him.

Make sure to organise a taxi/Uber/bus/bikes beforehand to get around (e.g. if you want to visit the town or go on a tour). This place is more like a bar/restaurant as the "main event", which happens to have 4 cute and cozy rooms - just to manage expectations - you will check in at the entrance to the restaurant and no one will answer your requests via booking.com beforehand.

The staff was friendly. It's right on the beach and attached to a bar so no problem finding food and drink.

It's closer to the highway than the beach so it's not quiet at all, trucks and motorcycles are roaring by at 530 in the morning and there's no way you're sleeping through it. Bitter sweet issue, there was a scheduled party that night at the bar that nobody warned us about so music and loud drunk people until about 230am. The sweet part is although we were exhausted and didn't get much needed sleep we like parties 🙂

Good location

Staff can be nice but it's a little 50/50 in my experience. Some were cool, some had a weird attitude and a little rude to my wife.

I liked the beachfront area and the view of the restaurant.

We left our beach blanket drying outside of our room leaning on our front wall and we got it stolen at daytime. That scared us because that meant that someone really dangerous was on the property and just outside of our room. We stayed 3 nights, the breakfast was good the first days they let us order between things 3,500 or under of the menu but the last day they gave us no option, just the typical breakfast (gallo pinto and scrambled eggs).

The vibe! Very chill, good room, good food.

The road the hotel is on is a bit busy.

The staff at Vida Hermosa were wonderful and helpful! They took care of everything for us, made us feel safe and welcome. Meals were delicious, with tons of variety and catering to different tastes and food preferences. The facilities (yoga shala, pool, dining area and relaxation areas) were wonderful! Tons of activities were suggested and flawlessly organized. I would strongly recommend Vida Asana for a lovely jungle getaway. It was perfect!

The only thing I would recommend changing is meal and yoga schedule. I didn't like that meals were served before yoga. I did have the option to prepare a plate for after the practice but I would recommend practicing yoga before having a meal that way you practice feeling lighter on an empty stomach AND everyone gets to eat together for a better sense of community. I would have a yoga practice at 8 and the other at 4 4:30 and have meals at 10 and 6. Also, 2 meals a day with a snack in between could also work. Something to consider!

This place really felt like I was at a private beach with locals. Great time!
