The guesthouse was very clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfasts were very good. We were centrally located.

The rooms need a makeover. The chairs were old and torn to pieces. They had covers over them to hide this. The shower never had a rose and was more like a hose. There was no way of controlling the water pressure. There was nobody to greet us when we arrived and we hadn’t been given correct arrival instructions. I was only able to get in as when I arrived, someone happened to be walking out. I called the emergency number I had several times and someone only answered after about half an hour. I basically hung around and never knew what to do. The person who answered was unapologetic. Subsequent to this initial poor introduction, the service was very good.

The Inn on first was the perfect place for us for our short visit to Napa. The location is perfect for walking into town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great!

Esta muy bien ubicado y fuimos muy bien atendidos. EL alojamiento es muy cómodo y el desayuno y las galletas hechas en casa estuvieron deliciosos. Recomiendo este alojamiento como una excelente opcion económica en Napa.

Algunas cosas necesitan ser renovadas porque se nota que ya estan un poco viejas o desgastadas, como las alfombras y algunos muebles. Tambien pueden mejorar un poco la decoración para hacer las áreas comunes mas acogedoras.

We had a lovely very spacious room on the 2nd floor, it was very well equipped and we even got a small bottle of champagne & complimentary home backed cookies

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was beautifully presented and creative. I enjoy the idea of a side salad and offering dressing on the side would be a very nice option as it was sweet. Location was great for walking to downtown Napa.

Our bed had a sink hole in the middle so we were rolling into the middle. That is hard when you need a more firm bed for back support.

Room was comfortable and everyone was very accommodating.

Our first Bed & Breakfast, and I couldn’t recommend it more! The Inn on First was a 10 out of 10. First, our location was perfect -just a few short minutes and you were in the heart of town. Next, the room was just so cozy and had so many amenities- great value! We had a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub all to ourselves. Lastly, the hosts were fantastic! Breakfast was always delicious and prepped your stomach for a long day of drinking wine. They even gave you a little bottle of wine to welcome you to your stay, and there’s a big outdoor patio for you to enjoy your drinks outside or by the outdoor fire pit. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for a great stay!

the breakfast was outstanding and being vegan we always have very limited expectations - the Inn on First catered for us specifically and it was delicious.
