Wonderful hostel. Grace and the staff are great, always making sure I have everything I need. The people staying here are always interesting and social - this time was no exception. It's easy to cook here. I'll definitely stay again - happily - next time I'm in town.

small dorm room, staff doesn't have much information about the surroundings and their currency rate is too unusual (692 crc = 1 usd), while in all costa rica it is between 575 and 610). I paid in dollars and they still charged me more than the price on booking.com.

Location spot on for airport. We were only staying for the purpose of ease to the airport the next morning.

Not having my own key. Personal preference would like a bit more privacy for the bunks. Perhaps curtains etc.

The owner is a sweetheart, the rest of the staff is also super friendly and helpful! Had a dorm on my own, felt super comfortable and slept well. The kitchen is not too big but it has everything you need for cooking. Speedy WiFi and coffee in the morning. Also I found it right away when I got off the bus, it's well located. Loved it! I would definitely go there again.

Good location, close to the bus station.

Very thin walls and the interior doors have shutters which doesn’t make it feel very private, also quite loud at times. You don’t get a key to the main entrance and you have a curfew. Small rooms, lumpy bed and a loud fan.

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating for any of my needs. Room was small but sufficient for my stay. Room was equipped with TWO fans. One for direct air, and another to circulate warm air out of the room. Nice detail! In the evening, an air conditioner was turned on to cool off the four rooms at the end of my hallway, so that was a nice add. Coffee was included with my stay. TV was in my room, but I didn't need to use it.

Shared bathroom. I figured I wouldn't really care, but it is a slight inconvenience to have to wait on someone to get out...
