I‘m so thankful for the support of the personal, how to catch the bus to nicaragua the other day. It made me feel like home to sit in the swing and plan my trip.

Superfriendly owners that will help and assist you if needed. The house itself is in walking distance of the bus terminal. The owner recommended a local Mexican restaurant not far away, the restaurant was also very nice. Very helpful people and a kitchen with good free coffee/tea. The showers are clean and have nice warm water. Best place in town to stay!

A lovely place to stay! Beautiful courtyard area. Air conditioned room. Friendly staff. Good location to the bus station. Hot showers.

Friendliness

Le lieu est en fait l’ancienne maison de la grand-mère de la famille qui a été transformé en un hôtel. Parking intérieur, 4 salles de bain disponibles, grande cuisine avec café, personnel accueillant, espace partagé très bien décorés, eau chaude avec gel douche et shampooing, très propre, calme, clime.

La chambre où nous sommes restées est un petit peu exigue et manque de rangement mais les espaces extérieurs sont très grands

Easy to get around, really clean and comfortable. Hosts were great and helped arrange for transportation to the airport. Love to see how locals live day to day. always a lot of activity in the area, street bands etc. Good food and grocery close by. I really didn't know what to expect but had a great time

Hostal bien situé à 800m du terminal de bus. 10 mn à pied dans une ville très sûre ou 5 mn avec Uber . Propriétaires vraiment très agréables et sympathiques. Chambre un peu petite avec 2 lits simples , un petit meuble pour les affaires. Air conditionné. Les douches et WC sont séparés. J'en ai compté 3. Il n'y a jamais d'attente. Vaste cuisine à disposition, très propre et bien équipée. Café et thé. Espaces communs très agréables, bien pour se reposer et les rencontres. Rapport qualité prix intéressant. C'est une très belle adresse pour Liberia. Supermarché Pali à une centaine de mètres.

The host and his family were so welcoming and accommodating. The place was spotless and I feel like there is good value in staying here. He gave us meal suggestions and was able to hold our luggage after we checked out. Always offering a smile and fresh coffee.

Our room had air conditioning but the common areas and the bathroom did not. My only suggestion would be adding a small fan to the bathrooms. They can be uncomfortably warm.

Meestal geven wij geen voorkeur aan een gedeelde badkamer, maar doordat ze 4 badkamers hebben hadden we daar totaal geen last van. De ligging is goed, ze maken constant schoon, koffie wordt gezet, ze hebben leuke zitjes en je kan een auto binnen parkeren.

Voor de prijs krijg je niet de grootste kamer

Excelente servicio y atención, buena ubicación, el hostal tiene espacios muy agradables. Lo recomiendo en un 100 por ciento.

Me hubiese gustado contar con servicio de desayuno.

Amazing amenities, really nice and clean hang out spots and lots of bathrooms!

Hosts communicated well. The facility was clean. The common areas are nice. Felt I saw the inside of a locals house.

Noise. It seems in a Sunday night there were people outside street racing and the noise from the vehicles was very loud, at least it was very loud from my room.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht im Hostel verbracht, bevor unser Flieger am nächsten Morgen Richtung Heimat ging. Uns war deshalb die Nähe zum Flughafen und der günstige Preis wichtig.

Uns hätte ein eigenes Bad im Zimmer gefallen. Aber für 1 Nacht konnten wir uns damit gut arrangieren.

Sehr schönes Hostel in super Lage, alles liebevoll eingerichtet und gepflegt. Badezimmer sehr sehr sauber, die Zimmer sind gut und die Betten bequem. Die Küche ist klasse ausgestattet mit Kaffee, Tee, Gewürzen und auch sehr sauber. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Guillermo and his family are very welcoming and friendly. Location is only 10 minutes by foot from the Bus Municipal to go to Peñas Blancas and also reachable by public bus from Liberia Airport. Cute house with a nice patio. Rooms are basic but good enough for a couple of nights. There was even air conditioning. Thank you for the first night in Costa Rica

The whole family is super friendly and welcoming. We immediately felt like at home. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! They really have an eye for details, e.g. umbrellas to take, in case of rain. Everything is super clean and the staff permanently takes care of all the facilities. The room itself was cozy and the AC was working properly. The common areas are nicely designed and we really enjoyed hanging out there. There are many shared bathrooms, so you'll never have to wait for showering. This was our best stay since weeks, thanks to the family who runs this place! Muchas Gracias!

Lovely family run place, staff are so kind and very considerate! They went above and beyond expectations in helping us. We feel grateful to them for their amazing care and communication. The apartment was comfortable and WiFi really good. Really recommend the place and the lovely family that run it. Very easy walk to main square and shops.

There's not much the family can do about this, but the road noise and neighbours' music on a Saturday is a bit loud. It's probably not a problem on any other night, and it's probably the same across the city.

The space has been created and decorated with love, making you feel right at home. It‘s a family business, which makes everything even more homey and the owners are super kind and helpful. The rooms aren‘t big but if you need more space you can hang out in the common areas. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly and the location is great too (close to bus terminal and city center). Definitely the best place to stay in Liberia on a budget!!
