hotel disaster. I understand you get what you paid for but that was my worst experience ever. I didn’t spend another minute.

Price and location, many food shops around, staff is very satisfied and kindly he will tell you how to reach the road or location near the hotel, and other infos. The bed is clean,

Bathroom is too compact and my room's window faced to a great stone wall (or hill). But it's acceptable, and sometimes will flow in some smoke smell from the outside of the door.

I loved the owner's attitude, cleanliness, and location is perfect.

Location and helpful staff. I also appreciate highly their clean bedsheets and towels, given so many flaws in the other aspects :)

The property could do much much better job to welcome visitors. Although in a perfect location, they forgot to mention the windows are blocked by the wall of the next building, that is why One Night stand is more than enough. Or if you get up early, go out and comeback late to sleep in as you cant enjoy natural light or view in the room. Thus for longer stay it definitely is not suitable. I asked during booking for the room with the table as i wanted to work in the evening. They had the table but had no chair. Picture of the reception / lobby did not reflect the reality, not sure if it has been reconstructed recently or so. What got me the most was a bit dirty walls, dirty carpet and the filters both at the AC and in the bathroom were NOT cleaned for ages - at least they seemed so. There was so much dust and dirt that it did not create a pleasant feeling. These all things take tiny effort to fix and to do it properly, yet with the huge impact on the overall feeling which would be completely different. As I said - for one night it is ok if you do not plan to hang around much.

The location is not bad, within walking distance of West Lake & food places etc.

I wouldn't really classify this place as a hotel – it's a check in desk with a few rooms to the side. When we checked in the property stank of smoke, the owner clearly smokes in there. Our room was quite rough around the edges, and on top of that the toilet was broken. Because I'm a foreigner I was subjected to a lot of hassle with check in – they even called the police in the morning to come to my room and check my paperwork (I was fine and I told them this multiple times / showed them my paperwork). After living in China for 5+ years and traveling all over the country this was by far one of my worst experiences, I would really advise avoiding this location.

The hostel is really nice and well kept. We stayed two nights in a double room: spacious, nice and clean. We liked also the bathroom: quite big and well cleaned! The owner even if doesn't speak English is really nice, we managed to talk thank's to the phone translator and with few Chinese words. We liked also the location: by foot is 10 minutes from the metro station and 15 minutes from the West lake, also the bus station is near (5 minutes more or less). It's a really nice place to stay if you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money and have a nice stay.

Sometimes there was a bad smell in our room coming from the bathroom, and also it would be great to have the possibility of having breakfast in the hostel, but anyway there's a kettle in the room so you can manage to drink and eat something in the room. Pay attention to the fact that the hostel doesn't accept foreign cards (you can pay with Chinese ones or by cash)

The location is the best. The hotel staff are good help me with my luggage. Down side is it is on the second floor that means we have to carry big baggage upstairs. No coffee no free bottled water no ice or hot water for guests
