We had a great stay at Splendour on Esplanade! Daryl and Jeanette were amazing hosts, and the house is absolutely beautiful. There was always something to do, even though the weather wasn't great for a lot of our stay, the games room and boardgames kept us entertained, and the view of the ocean more than made up for the bad weather. We can't wait to plan another trip here again!

We were extremely happy with our stay, everything I was expecting plus more.
the children didn’t want to leave as there was lots of activities for them.
Plus being so close to the beach

House was the perfect size for our group of family and friends, plenty of room and great location. The communication from the hosts was excellent and the welcome sign with extra goodies was greatly appreciated.

Splendour on the Esplanade was the perfect place for a group of old friends to get together. The location was perfect and the property was spotless, well maintained, well equipped and very comfortable. The property owners had thought of every detail that would enhance anyone staying there.

Wonderful home with all you heed for a get away for adults and kids. Stunning views and location to the beach! Outstanding facilities and great host better than most places we have rented. Thanks Jeannette and Daryl for making it a wonderful holiday home ! Definitely on our preferred holiday homes list of must stays !

Loved the location, house and the extra play area out back was a real bonus we enjoyed playing (pool & ping pong). My wife loved being opposite the dog beach and the sunset views over the water (not in Qld)

This was our second time staying at the Splendor. Again it was PERFECT for our needs.
This time I had my 2 yr grandson with us and even he loved being on the balcony watching the beach, the people and dogs :)
The cart supplied made carrying everything to the beach easy.
As it was hot,the air conditioner worked wonderfully and the shades on the balcony blocked out the sun without blocking out our view
We will definitely stay again and kids have already sorted out who gets which room next time

Great property for friends and family especially for family with older children..games room outside and beach within watching distance. Being at the end of a busy road made for a more relaxed setting for everyone and a great beach opposite added to the atmosphere of the holiday. There was an abundance of every that was needed in the house including the extra personal touches.

Only one problem. House next door is being constructed. Tradies finished work at 6pm. They started again at 6:45am on Monday morning. Noise was a nuisance but is only a temporary problem

Another lovely stay at Splendour. Always clean with very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of board games and games room too for when we weren't at the beach. Conveniently close to shops and cafes. Thoroughly recommend for family or friends get togethers.

For the second year in a row we stayed at Splendour on Esplanade and once again it was magnificent. From the communication from Daryl and Jeanette, to the cleanliness of the property, everything was first rate. Walking into the house it actually feels like home, with plenty of room to sleep, relax or play. A great location with an easy walk to cafes, or cross the road to the beach for a swim. We couldn’t fault it.

We loved our stay ,we had a lovely welcome package on arrival.
It’s by far the best property we have stayed in,We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the Beach ,it was so relaxing,Also enjoyed facilities in the games room,The property was spacious and as there were nine of us and we didn’t feel crammed,Our hosts were very approachable and helpful .We hope to come back again in the future

Beautifully presented - with obvious care taken to ensure visitors are comfortable. We invited our adult children & kids to relax & spend an early family christmas here - and had such a relaxed time. The beach view just lets the stress of a busy year melt away. We appreciated having use of the games room & the beach gear was well used during our stay too. We felt spoilt - many thanks to our hosts!

As we have family from several locations (Perth, Melbourne and Northern Victoria) it makes it difficult to get everyone in one location. We decided to have an Early Xmas so not to miss seeing everyone. This accomodation was perfect both being convenient to travel to, and the facilities were perfect. My sons and daughter in laws competed with each other over table tennis and pool, fishing and relaxing. The property directly across from the beach has an amazing view, great walk tracks and good takeaway food choices and supermarkets.
The accomodation provided baby gate, high chair and portacot for the 16 month old which was much appreciated.
Janette and Daryl made the booking process and communicated with me any questions I had.
We had an amazing Christmas, thank you so much.

This house is amazing!!! It’s even better than the pictures. We had the most perfect stay. The hosts are amazing. Great communication and they have thought of everything. Just turn up with your clothes and family. Perfect family beach house that caters for all ages. The beach is on your doorstep. Games room is great for intergenerational bonding. The house is very clean and organised and spacious. Fantastic large bedrooms with the comfiest beds and clean modern bathrooms. Toys and games for little kids and big kids! Sitting on the balcony watching the waves roll in was my personal favourite part. When I say the hosts have thought of everything, I mean it. The house is well stocked and nothing has been forgotten. Location is awesome with the beach at your door, local shops nearby and a large range of local restaurants. I have recommended this house to all my friends and I can not wait to go back and stay again!

Such a stylish and comfortable home, with plenty of space for our group of five seniors. We particularly enjoyed the ‘Masters’ table tennis games, as well as the views from the front balcony. Thank you Jeanette and Daryl for your assistance and for the lovely bottle of wine and other goodies you provided for us.

Where to start ...just everything about Splendour was first class, we wanted for nothing while accommodating our family attending our son & lovely new d.i.l's wedding. It made the whole weekend special, the little ones had a ball with the beach right there & even went swimming in September! We will be back for summer..if we can get in! The little touches were so welcoming and the amenities second to none.

Everything about Splendour on Esplanade was perfect! Roomy bedrooms & ensuites, fully stocked kitchen ( cutlery, crockery , glassware) as well as all the appliances you might need. Plenty seating in lounge & dining room. All rooms tastefully decorated.Perfect beach views. Well stocked games room & board games. You name it it has it! And very easy and friendly correspondence with owners, nothing was a problem. We were 3 familes with 3 children. The price was excellent, especially as we were all together in the one place which made it more affordable than 3 different places.will definitely return and recommend highly .

We had a very enjoyable holiday. Everything was great. We could not have been happier with our holiday experience. Daryl and Jeanette were excellent and the property was spotless. We would definitely recommend this to any family. We will plan to return.

This house is AMAZING!!
There were 10 of us staying which could get quite crowded but not here. With 4 toilets, 3 bathrooms a huge kitchen and living area, a balcony with amazing views, the beach right across the road and a huge games room, it had something for everyone!
The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything you need, the welcome treats were fantastic, there were heaps of board games and beach toys to keep the kids busy and the games room was perfect, there was hardly a moment someone wasn’t in there. With a pool table, table tennis and foosball table, other outdoor games plus a fridge for drinks, it had everything for adults and kids.
It was 30mins out of the city (which we loved) but it’s such an easy drive into town you don’t even notice.
The beach is right across the road and is beautiful.
The hosts Daryl and Jeanette were so lovely and helpful, they genuinely cared about our holiday.
All 10 of us loved the place and were sad to leave, we will definitely be back.

This is an amazing house....with four bedrooms & three bathrooms there was no waiting for the shower when 5 women need to get ready :)
Beautiful outlook from the living room, watching the waves roll in and the beautiful sunsets every night.
The lounge room was the perfect place to do yoga and stretch & mediation with the sounds of the ocean right there!
The house beautifully decorated, light, bright and roomy and a wonderful big kitchen!
You have the best of both worlds, close to McLaren Vale Wineries & the Ocean.

Property was in excellent condition, clean and tidy upon arrival. All requests for extras such as high chair, portacot, baby gates etc were met without any issue!
Location was very peaceful, away from any main roads (minimal car traffic with no trucks, buses, trains etc) with convenient access to the beach.
Our family spent a weekend away for Mother's birthday who enjoyed every minute of the property and the beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony.

Look no further than this property!!! It was across the road from the beach, you could see the waves from the couch in the living room!! It was incredibly clean and so many lovely touches by the owners. Beautful spacious rooms with ensuites. large bathrooms. The sheets were so soft and clean. Wine, cheese, chocolates and even a lovely welcome note!! We walked to a cafe down the road every day for breakfast and enjoyed the beautiful beach and fresh air. We met the owners on our last day and they so warm and lovely. They have a wonderful neighbour next door called Craig who made the stay even nicer!! We definitely would go back in a heartbeat. thanks for a wonderful stay and the lovely house you offer.

Our family came from Canberra and Woolongong to meet up with our son and his family who live at Christie’s beach. We had a fantastic stay in Jeanette and Daryl’s house. Having three bathrooms and an extra toilet was so handy with small children going to the beach often. The house was very clean and we felt welcomed with a lovely message and wine and pickies in the fridge. The closeness to the beach was amazing and the sunset stunning. We were able to seat 12 for lunch one day which was handy. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much Jeanette and Daryl.

Love the location -- and the house was perfect.
Loved watching the weekly Christies Beach 5K go by on Saturday mornings. Maybe next time we'll participate (at a walking pace!), and watching the dogs play on the leash-free beach just opposite.
Our plans for a family gathering didn't quite work out, but the hosts were very helpful and we'll definitely be back again!

We were in SA for our sons wedding and wanted somewhere nice to stay near McLaren Vale. The place couldn’t have been better for location and the house itself. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and the website was exactly what we got with no issues at all. Thankyou.
