Instruction on where to leave rubbish when departing (minor). Booking. com state there are two rooms with double beds. This is not the case since the recent refurbishment. There is one.

This is our second trip to Aldrich Cottage and we love that it is very well equipped and very clean.

The only suggestion would be for more comfortable garden furniture, it’s so beautiful with the bi-fold doors open but the metal table and chairs are not very comfortable even if you put the cushions on.

Aldridge cottage was beautiful. The rooms were lovely and clean. The location was in a lovely quiet spot and not far from Frome. Plenty of space for parking. We had a lovely stay.

Heavier curtains in bedrooms would have been better to make the room darker at night.

Lovely and quiet, little welcome gift, very functional, everyone had a bathroom, great location, good space.

No batteries in the remote! Other than that it was lovely

The location is great. The cottage was lovely and warm. All the bedrooms have en-suites. Amazing walks close by and The George Inn was a great find. Nice big hall to keep muddy shoes out of the way.

Chairs at the table were awful. Shower in room 5 leaked through the ceiling. Shower in room 3 runs 10 mins after turning it on. The Cottage needs a little TLC it feels neglected. It rained heavily while we were there and there were lots of noisy dripping outside.

Each room was a good size and had ensuite facilities. The grounds were also lovely.

It was advertised as having access to a heated outside pool, but the pool was drained and unusable. We paid extra for this facility. The accommodation is very basic, no mirror in the bedrooms and only one small TV that did not work well. Not a character, country house.
