Great atmosphere! Felt cozy and comfortable. Beautiful setting and the mountain bike/snowboarding decor was fun!

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was helpful and kind and gave us some suggestions for dinner places and stargazing areas. The shared lounge areas both on the first and second floor were very spacious and suitable for hanging out as a group. The outdoor area was also super relaxing. Although there are no private showers or baths in the rooms, it was nice that this place had a private bathroom available for families or couples in addition to the shared baths. The breakfast was very filling and wonderfully delicious! We only stayed for one night this time, but we hope we can stay longer next time and also enjoy the other activities / services that we didn’t have time for this time around!

Excellent Location. Lot of included things to do in the guesthouse (Hammock, table tennis, fussball). Hey also offer bikes and adventure activities at an extra cost.

Did not include toiletries (toothbrush). A few basics i side the room would have made it perfect

Norikura is a gorgeous nature spot, and Northstar Alpine Lodge is in the heart of it. We skied, snowshoed, visited hot springs, and relaxed. The meals are hearty (great bread!), and the staff incredibly warm and genuine. Will definitely visit again!
