This is our 6th trip here at Cedar Hill and still our favorite place to stay. Our Host is wonderful! This place is always the reset we need to be able to get back to our daily hustle. We love the upgrades that have been done (outdoor seating front & back and the rugs). It is serene & we love watching the deer. We will hopefully be back before the end of the year!

Started as my wife's graduation and turned into a mothers day vacation for my family. Camp fire and nature walks were fantastic! Hot tub and plenty of towels available. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot, not much to complain about. The road to get to the house is challenging to drive on, but, thats beyond the owners control. Our stay was incredible and we all had a lot of fun!!

Cedar Hill Cottage was perfect for our girl cousin’s get away. Home was exceptionally clean and had well appointed kitchen and baths. Bed linens were lovely and bed comfortable. Communication with host was great. Would definitely stay there again.

This VRBO is very close to downtown Wimberley yet feels like you’re out in the country. Very peaceful and private surroundings. Kitchen is very well equipped and we enjoyed using the hot tub on the back deck. The owners were very hospitable. We would stay here again.

It's exactly as described and as others have reviewed. It was spacious, spotless, and truly special. From the quiet dark nights in the hot tub, to the homey welcoming touches all throughout, we had a fantastic stay. We were so sad to leave. Thank you!

Everything about our stay was perfect and we so appreciated the bottle of wine and note the hosts left for us, as well as all the thoughtful touches that made us feel so welcome in this lovely cabin. The hot tub was very relaxing and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, and made it easy to cook meals. The house was warm and inviting. The landscape was beautiful, just to relax and look out over the hill country. This was mine and my wife's first trip without our kids in 8 years. Having a place so remote to get away to yet close enough to drive to so many interesting attractions was perfect. We were able to spend the nights cuddled together enjoying the solace of this location and the days exploring the local shops, restaurants, and activities. The hosts were amazing for being able to reschedule us after a loss in the family on such short notice. We are so happy we rescheduled and didn't miss out on this stay. We are already planning another trip and hopefully sooner than later. The hosts personal touches to the decor and amenities was above expectations. Examples, the welcome card and bottle of wine, the personalized signs welcoming you to the home and giving you the WiFi password, the play pen and highchair for people who may have forgot their own, the outdoor lighting and so much more.

Nice place nestled among cedar trees and close to Wimberly. We especially enjoyed the hot tub off the back porch! Everything was as described and instructions were clear.

Angela and Russell were awesome from beginning to end. The property and house was absolutely amazing. Loved the large fire pit and seating. Everything was just awesome and exceeded our expectations.

This property was very clean and quite comfortable. A little ways out of town, but a nice quiet getaway.

My family and I loved our stay! The road to the property was a nice introduction to Hill Country. The property was just as pictured, just secluded enough but close enough to downtown Wimberly shopping and restaurants. Cozy home and grounds for my whole famliy! A big plus was a high chair for my daughter, there was also a pack and play we didnt use but there if we needed. The host was welcoming and we had no issues during our stay. Definitely a great rental for anybody!

My daughters and I enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the beautiful covered patio, watching the sunrise. Then, we watched movies and told family stories until bedtime. Thanks to our host for the great bottle of wine and home to enjoy making more memories!

This cabin is up on a hill, in a quiet spot, but also not too far from Wimberly's square. The area has great dining and shopping. We also enjoyed hanging out in the cabin, playing cards and knitting. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Everything was very clean and cozy - just as pictured.

The owner went above and beyond to create the perfect stay for us. She was very good with communication. We were in the area for a wedding. We had everything we needed at the property. It is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The only mistake we made on our end was assuming ubers were available in the area - they are not readily available. :) If you're flying in, rent a car. You will love the location!

This was our 5th time staying here. It doesn’t get old. We love the tranquility. The charger upgrade to each room was fantastic. This place meets our needs time & time again. Our hosts are fantastic. We will be booking again next year!

We loved this little gem in the woods! This was a perfect location for us to visit Wimberley , Gruene and San Marcos. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Hill Cottage. Upon arrival, we found the home clean and cool and quite welcoming on a scorching summer day in Wimberly. The beds and linens were comfortable - a must after a long day of shopping, visiting area breweries, and enjoying the Hill country and the kitchen was well appointed - much more so than most we've visited. Communication with Angela was always easy and she went above and beyond to accommodate us and help me out when I realized that I had booked the wrong date and needed to arrive a day earlier. I highly recommend this stay. You won't be disappointed.

Loved the property and location, very well located to what we wanted to do, there were7 adults and we had plenty of room. We got to see deer in the evening enjoyed sitting on the porches and the peace of the area. Had a nice surprise for our Anniversary from Angela and Russell. It was a very good experience, and would stay here again.

Cedar Hill Cottage was perfect for our small group during our visit to Wimberly. House had all the amenities needed, including a terrific hot tub. The hosts were very kind throughout the entire process, including the nice gift upon arrival. Would definitely recommend Angela and Russell's place!

We were looking for a quiet hill country location for our family. We only stayed a couple of nights, but fell in love with this place! It’s a great property that is quiet and scenic. We look forward to returning to explore the property much more thoroughly?

We had a wonderful time. The property is in a beautiful location 10 minutes from downtown. The back porch is a perfect place to unwind.
