I honestly couldn't name anything that was above expectations at all

No lock on my capsule from the inside, so all my valuables were vulnerable as was I while I slept. The only saving grace there was I didn't sleep because the "mattress" was a thin bit of foam on the floor. And the constant snoring (I had plugs in, not my first hostel) along with the creaky floor and steps made this place awful for me personally. If your going out drinking it would be fine. If your not best avoid and pay slightly more for much better elsewhere

Great place to stay, might be intimidating for first timers. Can’t beat the price and accommodations

The room was quite small, so it wasn't that comfortable at first, but I got used to it from the 2nd night onwards. On the otherhand, the shower rooms, wash area, and toilets were all spacious and clean. The staff at the reception were very friendly and kind. One of them always helped me carry my luggage everytime I had to check in, which I really appreciate. There's also an old lady who can speak English. She's very friendly and guided us how to use the facilities properly.

The location was great, as it was near a station and to experience the way of living in a capsule was something new for me. Nice for no more than 2-3 nights though.

The constant smell of smoke was not that nice and the facilities were not really clean. Also, doing laundry was not the best, as the machines were outdated and it took 3 cycles to dry my clothes. And, my room had bed bugs. Also would not recommend to stay here if you are tall (180cm+) as you can't stretch your legs in the capsule. For some, it could also be uncomfortable, as you hear other people snoring and coughing while trying to sleep.

the bed capsule is really old and dark; it is much smaller than what the photos show

all the facilities, perhaps except the 'capsule' space. any other facilities are okay though, from washing machine to microwave.

it feels cramped, also would be better if they have english sign/board outside the hostel (you won't get confused if you can read a bit japanese though).

The staff was nice and helpful. They did not know much English but they made an effort to communicate and get through with me. The facilities were good. Included toiletries, disposable razors, and coin laundry machines.

My main dislike is that smoking is allowed inside the hotel. People smoke in the common area and in the bathroom too for some reason. Due to the small area, the smoke gets very thick very quickly. Although smoking is not allowed in the sleep area, it does seep through whenever the doors separating the common area and the sleeping area open. Clearly bad for the health of the hotel guests, especially those how don’t smoke. I recommend requiring smoking to be done outside. Also, if you stay more than one day, they require you to check out and remove your stuff everyday at 10 am and you can only check in at 4 pm earliest. I can see the reasoning behind it for cleaning and such but 6 hours is too long.
