The location and view are wonderful. The team at the reception desk were helpful and had good tips for Tours at the property and around the region. The quality of the Breakfast was very good. The room was big and beautifully decorated.

The cleanliness of the room and common areas was not as expected. The team at the bar/restaurant did not do their job well at serving lunch and the food was medium. It seams to me Managment should do a better job training and supervising the job of their personnel. Although it is a 4 star hotel, the price is high and service and cleanliness should be a given.

Decor

The location is beautiful, peaceful. Ashford castle and gardens are a gem. The personnel is extremely friendly.

The staff, the food, the drinks, the breakfast, all was amazing. Would definitely go again for a nice get away.

Music in the dining room. It was very quiet there, I could hear other peoples conversations. I think some nice music in the background would drown out other people and create a nicer ambience. Noticed this at dinner and breakfast.

We had a very pleasant stay at this wonderful Lodge. The room and bathroom were immaculate. The dual voltage charging outlets, and the bathrobes and slippers were an unexpected bonus. The breakfast was superior to anything we have experienced. All staff took great pride in their work. A special mention to Breakfast Supervisor Rose Donoghue who went above and beyond to ensure a high quality of service was met. I left three pairs of boots behind in the parking lot, and I was thrilled to find the staff had retrieved them and set them aside for me.

The phone reception in the room was spotty.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! We can’t wait to return! The staff were so attentive and genuinely lovely. They really made our stay special! Bedrooms were spacious and had a very luxury feel with modern interiors. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The Lodge was so homely and cosy and the grounds were absolutely stunning, with beautiful views over the lake. The breakfast was unlike anywhere else, almost 3 courses with a huge selection and so delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough!

excellent location beautiful hotel & excellent staff & especially the breakfast host so accommodating excellent attention to detail. we had beautiful meal In Wilde Restaurant also Manager/ wine specialist was fantastic he had a vast knowledge of the different wines & gave us fantastic recommendation for wine to suit our selection of food chosen to eat !
