Lovely spacious apartment, travel cot free of charge and set up for us in advance (although we did struggle to get it back up when one of the sides came loose - probably user error). Quick responses when messaged, lovely pool and hot tub area.

Very low shower

we never used the pool area but it looked nice.

the room was disappointing. The curtain was broken so was open at one end- we were then in bed looking into the car park and I’m sure they could see us. The main door had gaps in the side so could see into the room also. Felt like we had no privacy and the road outside was really noisy. The shower was rubbish and there was a sugar packet half open which makes me feel like they didn’t clean the room properly. On checkout I told the staff the curtain was broken but they weren’t bothered. I would avoid this place! it’s way more money than it’s worth- I’m sure you could get better elsewhere. I was really disappointed with the room and the comfort of the stay.

A bit small, have had better value for money in NZ at other hotel/motel.

did not communicate to us on accessibility of rooms are on 2nd level & need to take luggage up the stairs.

the room was perfect and we have a backyard to enjoy.

the pool facility closed quite early so we didn’t get to enjoy after dinner.

Apart from the noisy fridge the room was in a quiet location.

After a very long day I got to reception and before I even had a chance to ask what time the restaurant opens, I was told, they're only serving pizza's today! I may have asked, "seriously, 4 different types of pizza is all that is on offer?" and the receptionist replied, "and chips"!! This was not advertised on their website when I was looking for somewhere to book and I was less than impressed. Then get to my room where there is two very generous car parking spaces, however sadly they haven't painted any lines in to define them and the DOC car had taken up a good 2/3s of it. A quick paint job would fix that! The fridge in the room was very noisy, to the point where I ended up having to turn it off in order to sleep and there was a cold draught, that I figured out was coming under a door that joins to another room. Wasn't the cleanest either.

Super attentive staff at the pool area. Great cocktails. Good to relax after a day in the nearby mountains.

Despite my late arrival the staff were friendly,helpful,amazing and easy to talk to the room was cozy warm felt like home. The bed was really comfortable the best sleep me and my partner have had in a while😊 having the tv was a bonus was something to watch other than our phones! The location was great too was really close to Wanaka and the shops. We really loved the oak ridge so much!!
