Check in very uninspiring with main emphasis on taking payment. Very tight parking. The room looked tired bordering shabby. Could overhear next door's telephone conversation in the evening despite door and windows shut.The shower became a loud drip drip throughout the night despite effort with the shower control Feeling somewat relieved to be leaving the next morning after a poor nights sleep, I was unsure where to report the dripping shower. That's when I looked under the bed to find an item of infants underwear left by a previous family. I found the emergency contact number on the reception door which I phoned. I was thanked for letting her know. I also had a chat with the incoming cleaner. In synopsis, this was a disappointing stay in an establishment which in my opinion needs a lot of work to bring it up to acceptable standards. I did stay here some years ago and left a more favourable review prompting this booking but I wouldn't stay here again

Warm, comfortable, practical, well supplied, plenty of room. Great shower with instant hot water.

Parking was a little tight for big cars.

The location was great - close to shops, a supermarket, restaurants and the Remarkables ski field.

location brilliant in the centre of Wanaka, room large enough a little cold but it was very, very cold and bed comfortable

distance to bus stop and they were mean bus drivers as they drove past the Aspiring and wouldn't pick us up there

It’s central location

On the ground floor people knock on the window when you are in the bathroom. The shower had a curtail that didn’t reach the floor and water traveled outside the shower basin. The shower basin didn’t drain properly. Parking is tight
