Amaying resort. Its our 3rd stay and it becomes better and bettery. So calm and peaceful, connected with nature and great in every means… Cant wait to come again.

Our Zeavolian experience was an enchantment from the moment we arrived at the marina to take the boat towards the hotel. Everything at Zeavola was perfect and beyond any expectations we could have. Location is beautiful, hotel layout is splendid, rooms are peaceful and furnished with all the necessary & more, everything perfectly cleaned every day, breakfast is delicious, restaurant offers for all tastes and we loved everything we ate there, activity desk is open all day with a smile and offers flexible and really qualitative trips at a fair price, the massages are among the best we’ve ever had and the multiple little attentions were a cherry on the cake every day. Beyond the beauty of the hotel and the environment, it is the people who work there that make Zeavola one of a kind. The staff is incredibly kind and smiling, experienced, present without being oppressive and makes everything possible. My husband and I are fortunate to have been able to stay in beautiful places in Europe and several exotic places around the world, and Zeavola has been the most remarkable experience we have had so far. A huge thank you for that!

Great bedroom. Great breakfast. Very good accommodation. The location is not convenient and of easy access in any way, but I guess that is the price you need to pay to have such a beautiful landscape and tranquility.

It is really quite an inconvenient (though beautiful) way from the airport to the Hotel. Understanding that, before my trip I tried to get more information on how to get there from the hotel and they were not very helpful. They answered me with the options the hotel provide for transportation, but nothing else. I understand the hotel always try to sell their services, but I was expecting much more from such a high end hotel, specially given the difficulty there is to get there.

The bungalows are well maintained but a bit old, ours had very strong humidty smell . You are in a tropical location , so you can expect mosquitos but here there were specially a lot of them. We hav travelled extensiv and I dnt remember ever such quantity of mosquitos at a hotel property. You need to have repellent on 24/7

Spa - massage by Man was outstanding

I got lost finding my way to our room every time over four days. Nothing is clearly marked and it’s like a maze. The accommodation was depressingly dark with no outlook. Boat loads of tour groups being dropped off for lunch at the Zeavola restaurant and then using the beach after. Zeavola is pitched as an Eco resort and you choose it because it’s more remote and thus quiet, hence my dislike for the tour groups.

the transportation to get there is a challenge. you can get to the resort only by boat from the main port of Phi Phi. so if you plan on party one night for example, you have no way to get back to the resort, since they don’t arrange special transfers for their resident. a 5-star hotel should probably have a better transport service to allow their residents to get in and out the property, especially if the beach is so remote from everything else. the taxi boat available are 30 USD per journey from the main port of PhiPhi

the location is perfect, the beach is very calm and clean, this is the only positive side of this hotel. The breakfast is okay. Staff very nice and welcoming.

The hotel is quite expensive for what it delivers. The room could be much more clean, the restaurant is okay but not good. The bathroom is outside of the room, which for us was quite inconvenient.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Every person we interacted with was just lovely and made our day. The staff all seemed genuinely interested in getting to know guests and making their stay more enjoyable. Eye to detail and little touches made our stay feel as though it had a personal touch. Particular shout outs to the day reception team, the evening bar tender, and the activities team. Finally, the manager and executive chef made the time to interact with guests which also is a nice touch. Zeavola has a great location on the north side of the island. It’s away from the overly touristy town and feels like you’re getting away from it all. Plus the scenery is all beautiful and idyllic. We did a private speedboat tour of all the Phi Phi islands which was just fantastic. Quality insight by the activities team, a great speedboat captain/tour guide lots of great opportunities for unique experiences.

Rooms were a little outdated and dark, bathrooms could be updated with functionality in mind (eg mirror behind sink instead of off to the side). Worst massage in Thailand at the spa (which was also the most expensive). Massuse had rough hands and used some kind of tool instead of her hands. She spent some of my massage time braiding my hair. My husband’s massuse used this time as massage time. Both restaurants have the same menu making it 1 restaurant. Gets a little samey if there for more than 3 days Location is isolated, which is great, but getting anywhere from Zeavola is very expensive and ordeal. It’s about £50 by boat to town if you want a change of scenery or different meal. Also on one of our trips to town, the driver brought an extra person back. As we had paid for a private boat, it would have been nice if the driver asked if it was ok or introduced us to the person. Mosquitos and bugs. Zeavola does a lot to minimize this, but it’s the middle of the jungle. We discovered barefoot luxury and creepy crawlers are not for us. Despite all Zeavola’s efforts and lots of bug spray, we still got eaten alive. Zeavola is honest about their offering, and it is a lovely place. If barefoot luxury is your thing, you will have a great time.

The suite is very beautiful and comfortable. The place is very calm and beautiful. We liked the team- so nice and kind! The food was great! Highly recommend!
