Cape Apartments are in a great location, our apartment was quiet, spacious and very comfortable. Just a short, easy walk into the main town. We will definitely return.

one key was hard for 4 adults but I was offered another key so it was perfect, no negatives at all.

Location excellent, good beds, many appliances in kitchen, comfy lounges, carpark on site, friendly manager on site. This is the top floor Eastern side Apartment 5 and therefore has good airflow and aspect.

A full check of the apartment and it’s contents to ensure everything is repaired to working order is needed immediately. Many items were broken impacting our enjoyment as we spent a lot of time in the unit and cooking all meals (closed restaurants and takeaways because of Byron staff shortages etc). Broken items included: main bedroom airconditioning, BBQ, knobs on both washing machine and dryer, ensuite shower rose etc. Apparently (a very overdue) refurbishment is planned in the off-season but in the meantime it is disappointing in peak season. I would love to stay again but only if the apartment is brought back up to scratch.

Booking . Com is very misleading - we thought we were booking a 4 star property as listed. The apartment is in a very bad state of repair, carpet must be at least 20 years old and grimy, toilets were not clean, crumbs and debris in the cutlery draws, not oven trays. No air conditioning in the bedrooms and no exhaust fans in the bathrooms at all. External doors do not properly lock - we felt unsafe during our stay. We complained to the reception staff- they informed us Booking. Com inspect and rate the property. We expect a refund as this property would only by 2 star and un clean.
