The room sizes, the use of free beach/pool towels. The staff. close proximity of the restaurant’s and bars. Being on the beach with two pools. One large and one adult quiet pool.

Check in time of 5pm. Not very good at all. We arrived at 1pm after an early flight and had to wait around for 4 hours before we could have access to our room. Fortunately we didn’t have children with us, I feel for those who do. It is the latest check in time I’ve ever known. Not good!

We were informed about pipes cleaning 10PM and the pipes cleaning starts next day 9AM. We had no water for drinking and we could not purchase any. It was a big disappointment.

Resort is really comfortable for families, in a good location with shops and restaurants, just next to the see. Buildings are old but still looking nice and clean. What was really not comfortable for family there - one cleaning service during 10-day stay. It was difficult to keep it clean without vacuum while the apartments are big. Many of them have really not much sun and are smelling bad because of it - check what do you rent. My big minus - no place for children to play. No play ground and a baby room was closed all the time. Baby swimming pool is not cheated (while an adult pool was..).

Very nice, spacious apartment with everything you need for a self catering stay. Great pool area and whole resort very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. Location was fantastic and many restaurants within a few minutes walk plus supermarkets.

The sofa in the living room was not very comfortable as it is really a sofa bed.

Central location, self-contained, and right on the beach. Clean, with everything we needed.

For the price, our stay was exceptional. If anything, I'd like a softer pillow, but wow, the facility was perfect to our needs (a dad and 2 young kids over half-term),

The resort has everything a family needs. It's located in calahonda just off a busy motorway. There are so many good restaurants on your doorstep to choose from at the front of the resort and cafes just across the pedestrian bridge on the opposite side of the road. The resort is located on the beach so you have that option if you prefer a beach day to a pool day. The wooden promenade is great if you like walking. La Cala de Mijas is about 45 mins walk. Its a beautiful little town with lots of cafes etc. The apartments are spotlessly clean if a little dated but have everything you'd need for a self-catering stay except a washing machine. Its a traditional 90's decor vibe, but I think if they were updated, the price would rise. The resort has tennis courts and three pools (one being indoor). My son used the gym every day and said it was decent. One outdoor pool is heated and is adults only. I totally appreciate this rule during peak summer season but feel there should be an option for children to use this heated pool, daily for a two hour slot during the winter months. You can request a late checkout and if they have availability this is no problem. I'll definitely come back as really enjoyed our break.

Im being picky as really like this resort but the children are not allowed to use outdoor heated pool during the winter months and kids love to swim outside and no washing machine in the apartment.

We did have a slight issue with a repair that needed doing, however the staff were able to move us smoothly to another apartment without fuss and were excellent throughout. The apartment was gorgeous with a fantastic view.

If I was really going to complain, the ability to connect to Netflix from the smart TV might have been good, but this is really minor.

Everything, the location was superb right on beach. Restaurant on the beach v good food and staff wonderful service. would defiantly recommend.

Everything was really as one would like a self catering holiday with good on-site facilities .... pool, sunbeds, restaurants and bars & of course your lovely tour guide 🙂 (pl. do not over work him as he is a 'diamond' ... he did never complain but i could see he had to 'rush' sometimes to be in another place).

Very Hilly

The on-site restaurants are fantastic and it’s great to have so many that are steps from the apartments. Favourites for us were: The Restaurant, Meson Dona Lola, Enriques and the Thai. The adult only pool is great - nice and quiet! And it was a lot warmer than in previous years. Dona Lola is on the boardwalk, meaning you can go for walks along it easily taking in the beach and local area. We love Luna Beach Club which is a 15/20 min walk (to the right).
