Alex and Jon really put themselves out to make our stay so successful. Food at breakfast and special dinner was delicious. They were great hosts and very entertaining. The Chinese room was superb, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Many thanks to you both.

What wasn’t to like! All we experienced was exceptional from the introduction to our room and it’s workings by Alex, to the superb cooking by John. All meals are cooked fresh, with fresh ingredients . John cooks and Alex does the baking of breads, etc. They are definitely a dream team in the kitchen and on the welcoming front. They couldn’t have done more for us. Now that Ferndale on our radar, we will look forward to returning when possible. Thank you John and Alex. Bernie & Helena 😎😎

The hospitality of John and Alex goes beyond what you expect to see in todays world. They ring back to a time where customer service and the personal touch sings out above all else. Its something that I think they aspire to achieve and they do it in spades. We loved the character and flamboyance of the rooms and we loved that they are showing what they are all about and being comfortable welcoming guests into their little piece of paradise in Ireland. Thank you so much for your hospitality, your food and your generous welcome!

The fact we could only stay one night

This was the best short stay we have ever had in Ireland. The location was superb, the accommodation was excellent with a magnificent breakfast. But what made the stay even more amazing were the hosts John and Alex. They were charming, informative and so helpful. We were so impressed with them and the place that I booked another 3 days for September.. there 5 star award is richly deserved.

On a busy holiday weekend we were fortunate to stay at this charming place. The breakfast was equal to a five star restaurant and our hosts were friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable as we continued our travels in Ireland. This is the best experience at a B&B we have ever had.

Our hosts were outstanding! Delightful getaway with super friendly and helpful hosts. Exceptional attention to detail, the room was artistically appointed to a very high standard, with excellent mattress and bedding. The hosts were so accommodating and even prepared a delicious dinner on short notice when we discovered dinning options nearby were closed. The food was inventive and delicious. Breakfast wowed us as well!

Everything! Set in the idyllic surrounding hills of Keel, we were welcomed by Jon and Alex, they are truly wonderful hosts. Beautiful room, with high quality bed linen and furnishings! I’ve never seen a breakfast menu like it, delicious! Can’t wait for my next visit!

- the location was perfect, easy to walk to the beach for a swim and to the restaurants for dinner - incredible sea and island view from breakfast room - the hosts are great and go to a lot of effort to ensure you have everything you need, even lending us beach towels

it’s certainly quirky and not very Irish, but can’t complain - the pictures are accurate!

Location was close enough to the centre of Keel to make everything super convenient, but far away enough to feel quiet & relaxed. Super attentive hosts. Most comfortable mattress we’ve experienced anywhere, and spotlessly clean. Good value.

Friendly hosts and excellent food

First of all, I would like to make it clear that we already had very high expectations for this place. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the inn we were treated very well, absolutely everything was perfect, the hosts are amazing people, the place is beautiful, the room is very cozy, clean and with everything you need. The breakfast is great, everything is made to order, with great care and attention. It was definitely one of the best places we've stayed in Ireland. We will definitely come back, as all expectations were exceeded! We just have to thank you for all the time of stay!
