I liked the parking garage with direct elevator access to the rooms. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was very close the ferry terminal which is the main reason I chose it.

Accessing car parking is difficult with steep gradient into cellar. Bed mattress sunk in middle, I had to turn whole around. Menu had no gluten Fred option, despite me I informing the hotel earlier.

Breakfast was good, with a choice of scrambled egg and bacon or cold meat and cheeses. As well as pastries.

The restaurant was closed in the evening as the hotel currently had no chef

Everything there was no surprises. Great location and quiet. The service at the reception and the restaurant dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Overall a great stay for one night to reach the ferry terminal early on the next morning. The hotel staff prepared a small but very welcome breakfast to take along onto the ferry due to our early departure.

Very friendly and accommodating staff (they packed us a breakfast when we weren't able to make the one in the morning due to an early ferry) and a relatively spacious room.

Very friendly welcome by the hotel personnel! Also great possibility of storing bikes safely in the hotel parking lot for free. The rooms were very clean and had everything you would need for the night. All in all great stay and quick access to the ferry!

Good central location and easy to get to by car. Shops just outside. Garage is good but difficult to get into. Hotel smells nice downstairs and in hallways. Restaurant in the evening is nice, 2 vegetarian choices and they can make pasta for kids. Nice wine. Waiter exceptionally kind and friendly. He's a keeper. Good coffee and tea in room. Fridge is a lifesaver for families. Bathroom updated but they could have a squidgy to wipe away water from floor as it goes everywhere when it's so small. Had to use towels.

On arrival at 14.29 I was told my room is probably not ready. But we pay for it from check in 14.30...?! Thankfully we could park the car in the garage and get bags ready so room was ready at 15hrs. Terrible breakfast: small and dark room, few tables, dirty tables, hot room no air con. Latter important because food was melting, the only cheese served was soggy and warm. Hardly any breakfast choice, some cucumber, 2 X fruit, awful doughy white bread, One mini croissant. Waffle iron constantly occupied. Just bad experience so we didn't eat and for breakfast from cafe next door. The hotel invites outsiders for breakfast for 145kr with a fab photo of orange juice and large croissants... Not the breakfast available. Poorest sélection buffet I have ever seen. My son cried as he had nothing to eat. Overcrowded room and no staff. Room was so hot. We had balcony door so we had it open all the time but room was stuffy and warm. Our paid for extra bed was by bathroom wall which smelled like mould. I had to move it to next to our bed to avoid smell for our boy. No air con in room although photos on website show ventilation and renovated rooms. Extremely noisy. Be aware hotel is on main pedestrian street and evenings are full of drunk people. Thursday night was bearable but Friday night awful until 3am. That included a party in room above. No phones in room to ring reception to tell them about the noise inside hotel. Clearly not their fault it's noisy outside. Had to pay extra for bed for my son 2 nights even if first message from hotel said no extra charge. Had to pay for parking in garage. Hotel even called me after our stay to ask for payment for the extra bed, even if I had a receipt I had paid 500kr for 2 nights! Staff smile but are clearly not motivated. Shame. I wouldn't stay here again. It's a shame because best western is usually good and this was below average.

Nice close position to the ferry. Prepared for bicycles. They have to be left in the underground garage.

A breakfast doggyback was proposed via email (booking.com) in an answer because I had to leave very early. 1 day before staying at the hotel I confirmed that I would take this doggy-bag. Replay via email: "whatever you are referring to... just speak up for it at the desk". So at the desk I was informed that it would be too early for such a service next morning. This was ... confusing.
