Location
They stole some stuff from my room. I bought some presents and when I check out I found out it is missing. Please be careful.

Персонал. Забрали паспорт на сканирование и не вернули. Перерыл весь номер на следующий день. Спустился вниз и спросил не остался ли паспорт. Молча вернули, даже не извинились, что сразу не вернули. При выселении не дали счет-фактуру, хоть и обещали. Даже не вспомнили. Хамство и наглость персонала зашкаливает. Вообще не умеют разговаривать с клиентами и гостями отеля. Ведут себя безобразно. В 2024 году это неприемлемо. Статус даже не трехзвездочного отеля, а просто забегаловка. Было очень стыдно перед нашими гостями.

Завтраки стали скудными, по сравнению с прошлыми годами. Номера на 6 этаже старые и прокуренные. нет кофейни , которая ранее была при отеле, где можно было поесть

The hotel is very centrally located. The hospitality of staff and managers exceeded the expectations. If you're used to travelling in Europe, the hotel would be on par with 4* or higher hotels. Great breakfast with excellent meal selection. Definitely get a room with mountain view, if you have the chance. We will stay in this hotel again, when staying in Almaty.
Shower could be better: better water pressure and hot water was not available all the time (but it was fixed within reasonable time).

There was renovation work going on and it was noisy. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the room with the mountain view as requested.

the location in Almaty couldn’t be any better - you are right next to a long promenade street and several streets away from Almaty’s Arbat. hotel staff were pleasant and allowed us to check in 30 minutes early.
the building is old and undergoing some renovation. it was quite loud on our floor, someone was playing piano at midnight (we informed staff and they stopped it), TV did not work possibly due to renovations, breakfast wasn’t very tasty.

The location of the hotel was good
We were given a smoking room. The room reeked of cigarette smell. We had an infant and it was bad. There was no room service. We stayed for 2 days and the room was not cleaned. The room did not match the pictures shown on the site. We were told this was the only room available

The worst thing about our stay was renovation of the building that generated plenty of dust. Given that the hotel was built in 1968, we suspect asbestos. The level of dust in elevators was such, that sometimes it was difficult to breathe. It was necessary to close the hotel and open it after the work was done.
In addition, quality of food was really poor.

Excellent location close to walking distance & near all restaurants & Bars. Amazing view
Noise coming in rooms & rooms not dark with proper window covering need travel eye covering to sleep because sunlight comes early morning.

Location of Hotel is excellent for bars / resturants / cafes and the theater.
Breakfast is good with some choice. The coffee shop is great for a quick snack.
The room service menu is a little limited, but quality was good. The elevators are a bit small with just enough room for 2 people and cases.

The water was not hot enough, it took us 30 minutes to have hot water. The entrance door is not convinient.
