Really good place to stay for a couple of nights. Comfortable, very clean, good food and charming people!

Attractive with large rooms

Stayed on a Monday which was ‘quiet’ day, no evening meals offered although sign said food for residents! Breakfast poor, not replenished. Owner asked us to settle account as we entered for breakfast as he had to go out! He checked after our querying direct payment and the account had been paid! Had to travel 20kms for evening meal in Bebra.

This hotel has the best furniture for a long stay, and the best shower stall (non slip floor) I've ever seen in Europe and I travel many times a year, with a two year Covid gap.

Even though food is not normally served on a Sunday evening, our host kindly cooked up a delicious meal for us!

The owner remembered us! We had a different room (again), they are all fantastic, spacious, clean and comfortable.

No bottled water in the room, this is our 4th visit, and normally a bottle of water is provided.
