The Ivy is a superb stay. A delightful BnB with just 3 rooms so it feels very personal. Donna the host is such a sweetie and very accommodating. Plenty of breakfast options and the shower was excellent. The view looking out to the village cobbles from the King room is very pretty (if you're into that sort of thing) and the little details in the room like the tea/coffee hide away or the makeup wipes/cotton buds in the bathroom make all the difference.

Really friendly owners, I was welcomed with a cup of coffee and instantly felt at ease. As a solo traveler it was so nice to feel welcomed into the b&b, nothing was too much trouble :-)

The breakfast was disappointing. The preparation was very ordinary, there was no fruit and the granola was generic store-bought.

Excellent hosts in Donna and Steve, great location, gorgeous tea room. Bedroom was beautiful, thoughtfully furnished, comfiest bed ever, great breakfast with great choices. Brilliant value for money.

There was nothing I could improve, I loved my stay.

Had a lovely big room overlooking the green, very clean and comfortable, nice en suite with good shower. Very nice breakfast, cooked to perfection. I'd probably have liked a bigger portion of mushrooms but that's just a reflection on how good they were. It was also nice to meet Perry the friendly cat.

After a long journey from Mull, with numerous road holdups, Donna met us at the door, looked at us and immediately put the kettle on. Now that was well above the call of duty and was most welcome. The room, facilitates and situation was excellent. Breakfast was spot on.

Donna and Steve are great hosts, really welcoming with a cuppa offered when we arrived. The room for our 3 night stay was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with a lovely window seat. The bed was comfy and as the village is so quiet we slept very well during our stay. Breakfast was simply delicious. All local produce cooked well. Plenty of tea and coffee too. There is a form to complete when you arrive to order what you’d like. You can change this each day if you’d like but we just had the same each morning as it was so nice. The only room available for our stay was the small double. It has no storage whatsoever but you can just do what we did and leave your case open and slide it under the bed. Easy to pack for leaving too! Reeth is a great spot for some lovely local walks. Sadly we only got one in due to some truly dreadful weather on the Tuesday but we popped into nearby Richmond and visited a couple of museums and the local cinema in an old station instead.

No storage in the small double room but see above for solution and it wouldn’t put me off staying again.

We thoroughly enjoyed Donna and Steve and they were generous and helpful. The food was good. The town is lovely.
