Very nice hosts! The house is just amazing, with hammocks on the balcony and hummingbird all around the garden. We enjoyed the food served for dinner, it was delicious.

We felt that we had experienced the real Costa Rica. The family were so welcoming and food was very tasty, enormous portions. Very good value for money. Rita Maria and Wendys sister were so kind. We walked to the local waterfall and had a swim it was amazing. We felt we had found the real Costa Rica staying here. We also did white water rafting and the zip wire at POLO AZUL which is so close to the accommodation. Wendy was able to arrange a special deal which included lunch. Excellent value and again a highlight of our 16 day trip to Costa Rica

The shower was interesting. When you drive up to the property there are barking dogs. They are really friendly and came with us to the waterfall so don't be alarmed.

Because of COVID, Wendy, the owner and our hostess, arranged for us to stay at a similar property down the road. The property is her friend’s and neighbors’, and they were so lovely and friendly. The property and entire Sarapiqui was beautiful. Green, full of nature, and quiet. It was the only place we stayed in Costa Rica that didn’t feel run over by tourists. The dinner Wendy’s mother prepared for us (we are 2 vegetarians) was SO delicious and plentiful. The homecooked meal was truly unforgettable and special. Wendy also helped us with laundry which was so kind of her.

Wendy and her family are so friendly people! We stayed only two nights but there wouöd have been so much to do in the area. We did a really nice tour to a farm nearby with an ox  card. There we saw how people live on farms and we made quesadillas and went to swim at a waterfall. It was a great day! In the evening we did a "frog walk" with Wendy. It was very informative and she is really passionate about nature. We saw a treefrog and a snake!! It was awesome. The house is really spaceous and there are mosquito nets on the windows and over each bed. We saw various birds and monkeys from the balcony. Wendys mum made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. We actually kept a bit for lunch since it was so much :-D Next time we would stay a bit longer.

Great and spacious place to stay and Doña Rita is a warm welcoming person and a great cook. I recommend the ox-cart ride with her nephew José Angel, fun and non-touristic.

Wonderful location and house surrounded by the rain forest. Wendy was most attentive and helpful, and mother Rita Maria very caring and an amazing cook. We could watch animals and birds from the terrace of the house. Very nice place to calm down in the middle of nature. Thank you Wendy and Rita Maria.

All was beautiful. You feel being in the nature so much. Very good energy.
